One of the best Vegetarian/Vegan options in the Roxborough/Manayunk/East Falls and surrounding areas!
I've been vegetarian for over 6 months now and my girlfriend has been Vegan for 2 to 3 years and we've have been looking for more places to eat out at in the area that are actually good and this is now at the top of my list!
I got the Vegetarian Burger, my mom got the Avocado Toast, and my Vegan girlfriend got the Shroom Mac and Cheese!
As you can see from the pictures the food looks amazing! I tried a little from each dish as did they and we all agreed the food was some of the best we've had in Philadelphia!

My girlfriend had a cold at the time and got the "Health Tonic" drink on the menu! It was perfect for her and her cold on a rainy day!
If you go I guarantee this will be a new favorite place you'll add to your list of places to eat at even if your not a Vegetarian or Vegan!

One of the best new vegan spots in the city! The tandoori tacos banging! Kurly kale fire! Pancakes & French toast make you wanna slap your momma! 😂😂😂 The owner is cool, great guy! Philly Black Vegan was here!
So excited to have delicious vegetarian options in East Falls (Philadelphia)! Chef Craig has done an amazing job curating healthy, flavorful food at very reasonable prices (serving sizes are 👍). Plus Milo partners with local farms and businesses like Inspired Brews kombucha and Crust bakery for dessert. Everything is delicious but my husband and I especially love the tinga mushroom tacos and bahn mi bomber. Get into it!
I have enjoyed a meal at Milo Restaurant on two separate occasions. Tonight I had the pleasure of sharing a meal with my god-daughter and I had the Kurry Potato & Veg Soup. Well, this soup was like nothing I have ever had before. I spoke with Chef Frederick and shared with him my exciting experience of having a soup that was full bodied, mouth exploding with flavors extremely delicious soup. It was an amazing experience. If you see this soup on the menu, you won't be disappointed if you like a spicy soup and if you want to taste all the flavors of the dish, this is the soup. A creamy curry base with small pieces of potatoes, carrots, sweet peas, onions and peppers. Delicious!
We can't say enough about this place. It's a must for vegans/vegetarians in the area. We had the Cesar salad -- sorry we were so hungry I forgot to take a picture of the beautiful presentation -- it was Delicious! The Tinga Tacos were really good with a nice kick. And the Bella Pho was so so Good. To top off the night the chef came out and introduced himself to patrons and inquired about their selections. From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome. I would highly recommend Milo and look forward to returning soon.
Ordered for pickup and process was smooth. Order done on time and friendly service. Got the bahn mi which was absolutely delicious. Good amount of cilantro on it (so be weary to order without if you're not a fan). Inside restaurant had plenty of dine in seating. Additionally, it definitely felt like a place you could walk in and grab your morning coffee to go or sit and enjoy it there.

Delicious vegan food in a chic and cozy environment! Service was great as well. Would highly recommend, even to non-vegans such as myself
Great food!! We've tried most things on the menu and can't find anything we don't love. Some of the dishes like the Hot Moroccan don't look that big, but when you're finished you are FULL. Not just delicious but also satisfying.
I love having a spot like this in East Falls, but if you're not in EF and love vegan/vegetarian food, this place is more than worth the trip. And for those who aren't vegan/vegetarian and aren't familiar with that cuisine, give it a try. You'll probably be pleasantly surprised!
So thankful for a spot like Milo in East Falls! Amazing vegan (and vegetarian) comfort food in a casual but cozy space. The menu is really varied and perfect for a group with different preferences/diets. I’ve tried most of the menu and have not been disappointed once. Def try the shroomy mac at lunch/dinner and the vegan frittata for brunch! The staff is also very friendly, which makes it an even better experience.
Four of us had an amazing lunch here. Super vegetarian and vegan dishes that are unusual and delicious! Very friendly servers, and a relaxing atmosphere. You won't be disappointed to try Milo!!!
