Stopped by this location inside the Wanamaker building during my lunch hour. The space is located on the corner of the first floor and easily accessible from the building entrance. They have selections of bread, pastries and coffee.
The coffe is pretty good. There are a couple tables but this is a place to stop in at, not to work or study. The music from Macy's can be quite loud and there is the occasional homeless person stopping by.
Passero's is a superior coffee shop, lightyears past the boxstore competition. Real coffee, friendly staff, tasty food. Much like the fair trade coffees they carry, it is locally owned and operated. Treat yourself to this oasis of greatness in the sea of ordinary chain brands. Go there now!
This is a good place to go, I got a coffee 'Americano' and for me the coffee was just perfect, not strong, not light, and the flavor, muah! just the perfect mix. Totally recommended.
This place is great! While they are not serving up the best food or drink in the city (or even the block), they more than make up for it with their service. From the moment you walk in they will do whatever it takes to ensure you leave happy.
The first time I went, my girlfriend and I ordered a sandwich. When we went to pay, the owner informed us that we only pay after we have eaten, just in case we don't like what we got! What other lunch shop in Philadelphia does this?
Pros: Service
Cons: Price, Food could be better
