Bait & Switch Seafood Bar - Philadelphia - Photo album

~Just moved to the area & The Bait & Switch seems to be the top nightlife establishment in walking distance regarding new decor, drink selection, square footage, & food variety. First impressions: upon entering there is a round-a-bout bar leading into an indoor dining area, & then even an refreshin
Nice place to sit and eat, the outdoor patio was breezy but comfortable. My favorite thing we ordered was the cheesy grits and clam chowder. The fried fish was a little plain. Would definitely come back during happy hour or other special.
Omg love this place. Bait bucket is tooo good. The angry muscles and and the spicy crab dip yummy. The scallops omg. Who told these people they could create this wonderful place. I been thinking about this place all week. The drinks are good and the service is great. They have local items from wine
Great place! Had the salmon and grains and my buddy had the fish and chips and both were delicious. Great and friendly staff. Even during the bartenders dinner break she jumped right up and made sure everyone was taken care of, when your drink was empty or you were ready for the check, with a smile.
Great seafood bar. Their happy hour is top notch. Especially since it includes dollar oysters. Their beer menu is great and again especially great for happy hour. This has become one of my go to spots in the neighborhood. The size and atmosphere is great.
WOW! That's not a word I use very frequently when describing a place to eat. I've been here three times now and each time, I've been completely delighted with whatever I ordered. The cheesy shrimp and grits are OUTSTANDING - and this is coming from someone who spent part of her childhood living in t
It's a nice small place, good atmosphere, well themed decor. The menu, while it looks expensive, is actually well priced for good quality seafood. They have events lined up throughout the week including Saturday night Karaoke which has become a regular for my girlfriend and I. I'd recommend this pla
Always fantastic-- great food, welcoming and friendly service. Our neighborhood fave!
Finally stopped in and was not disappointed. Cute decor, nice open feel to the dining area. I like that the bar area and dining area are separate here, they also have an adorable outdoor "patio" space for laid back hangs. Food was good. We tried the shrimp and grits, fish and chips, and, of course,
Best seafood bar in the Philly area. Great staff, exceptional food, and very cool atmosphere. If you want seafood with a comfort kick to it, a good bar, and a fun vibe, look no further. I can't recommend this place enough. Try the shrimp and grits.
This place is fun. So far I've tried the fish and chips and the blackened tofu "not fish" basket which was absolutely delicious, the clam chowder "bait bucket" fries, and several of the punch drinks. All are great though the fries are too skinny cut for my taste.
Food was good. Like the layout in the restaurant. The best part about the food was the clam chowder. Best clam chowder I ever had. The portions is good but it is little of overpriced for some of the items on the menu. But overall it I enjoyed it.
We loved our first visit to Bait & Switch and it won't be our last. We enjoyed the fried cheese curds, bait bucket, ahi tuna burger, and shrimp & grits. Service was very attentive and the waitress told us the prices of the daily specials as she described them. We decided to give Bait & Switch a
Came here for after dinner drinks with friends. The atmosphere is very nice, and he drinks were great. We got appetizers because we couldn't resist trying the menu. Looking forward to returning for a full meal.
Took my husband for his birthday. Had Louisiana shrimp for appetizers, i had spicy chicken sandwich, my husband had the roast beef sandwich. The food was delicious. We were here before and everything we tried has been good.
Great addition to the neighborhood. Nice selection of craft beers and a varying menu selection to appease not only seafood fans, but meat and veggie lovers as well. Perhaps the best oysters in Philadelphia.
If you enjoy seafood, it is a MUST TRY. Mussels or bbq shrimp, great flavor and quality. The service is super friendly and attentive! Can't go wrong! Casual and perfect for a date.
Honestly what wasnt to love... Everything from the food ( what an eclectic menu) for so many taste buds! I apparently ordered 2 out of 3 of their best items, which I knew right then and there I was about to be involved in a food orgy! And omg it sure was... from the clam chowder, cheese fries to the
3.5 stars. Cute seafood restaurant and bar. Had the MD blue crab special, which was just ok. Crabs were small and not very good. It was $28 for 5 crabs, 4 hush puppies and corn on the cobb.
