I absolutely loved this place!! The food was amazing very fresh and very authentic. They have the normal stuff but what I got was this chicken hot pot which was amazing and my wife got deep fried chicken which was just as great. Lee and Dan Dan were awesome and helped us with our choices and were really nice and friendly we liked them a lot!! Everything is awesome will go back! Very glad there's REAL Chinese restaurant is in town!

My fiance and I ordered take out from here. She got the general tsos chicken and I got the cumin lamb. Her chicken was really good but my lamb was just ok. We also each got an egg roll and one order of crab Rangoon to split. They were both really good too. I definitely want to go back and try something other than the cumin lamb.

One of the best authentic Chinese restaurants in this area. The flavor is just exquisite and the service is top notch. Their menu has a variety of dishes and they are all made fast and cooked to perfection. This restaurant never disappoints! Thank you for your amazing food!

We have gotten take out here three times now. The food seems very authentic as it's not your typical sugared-up Chinese-American fast food that I'm used to seeing. Food is cooked nicely and has a good flavor profile. We've had the crispy duck, mustard green and fish soup, the cucumber and woodear mushroom, the crab rangoon, West Lake Beef soup, Pork Intestine Hot Pot, and both the sesame Glutinous Rice Balls and Sesame Sweet Potato Cakes. All were excellent 👍 I like the variety of the menu. I found the portions generous; the food is very filling! They were very friendly over the phone for order and repeated the order back. The time they quoted has been accurate so far. They are also nice in person. The interior looks cozy with lots of booths and cute decor. I hope to be able to dine in one day soon to get the full experience. Thanks! We'll be back!

I live right around the corner and Lucky Star has always been my family’s go to Chinese place. Thought we’d try something different tonight and we’re glad we did. The staff was very nice and even recommended a few dishes. We tried the Dan Dan Noodles and Fried Dumplings. The noodles were amazing and I’d even try to add some chicken/beef and broccoli to make a meal of it next time. The Fried Dumpling were amazing. You could tell they make them here fresh. For entrees we tried a bunch of different things. A Beef Hot Pot, Toothpick Lamb and Sweet and Sour Chicken. The Sweet & sour Chicken was just as good as any other Americanized Chinese food. The Beef Hot Pot & Toothpick Lamb were more authentic but the seasoning overpowered the meals. It wasn’t bad, but it could’ve been much better if the seasoning wasn’t overdone & each individual ingredient stood out more. That being said we had a great experience and planning on coming back to try some more different entrees!

Ordered the Singapore rice noodles and an order of egg rolls. The egg rolls were a bit doughy but perfectly fried and were pretty good. The Singapore rice noodles were really good and the best I've had in this area. (I always try it anywhere I see it since it's one of my favorite dishes.) I would definitely recommend if you're in the area and I'll definitely stop by again.

The wait staff is amazingly friendly and the food is really good. They have everything from American Chinese food to real schezuan dishes. Personally I love getting the sauteed chicken in spicy sauce. Which brings me to my next point: you can customize the spice level, I love mine spicy, like make me regret saying that spicy, my wife not so much. They're happy to accommodate.

The most amazing Chinese I've ever had. The food is amazing! The fried rice is cooked to perfect stickiness so that you can actually pick up huge chunks with your chopsticks. All of the main dishes are spiced very well. On another note, they were so kind and accommodating towards my friends who can't eat gluten. They would make all kinds of dishes gluten free for her with no extra charge. An awesome place run by wonderful people!

Very good dinner. We had stir fried spicy cabbage and smoked long hots. Excellent, not saucy, salty, or loaded with fillers. In the cabbage you could taste ginger and sechuan pepper; whole peppercorns. They tasted like smoked peppers; simple and delicious. They will adjust the spice, but we finally found a place that will make things really spicy. Great for vegetarians and vegans, even though the menu is loaded with meat. As well as the dishes on the menu, they will make other vegan dishes also. Just talk to the waiter or the host. The sizzling tofu at the table next to us looked delicious. The restaurant has plenty of parking. BYOB
