Ambrosia - Philadelphia - Photo album

The best cacio e pepe I've had in Philadelphia. I also tried their tortellinis that are stuffed with mushroom, mascarpone and ricotta that I really liked but was a bit salty for me. The Pistachio Panna Cotta was the show stealer that almost made me forget how long I had to wait there to get a table
Pretty good, I’d say. I ordered the ravioli and an Italian beer. The beer was great and the ravioli quite flavorful, though it seemed just a touch pricey for the portion. It also came out very slightly on the crisp side, though it certainly didn’t suffer for that.
There were ups and downs with this place but it is obviously a local favorite, many repeat customers and those that were first timers announced it and were excited to try the place. Food started really strong with the beef carpaccio, the special halibut was great minus the halibut being a touch on t
The caesar salad and duck were absolutely amazing, we also ordered the octopus, crispy gnocchi and rigatoni which were average. Not sure how I would rate this place definitely need to come back. The service was great. The food was a hit and miss. We got 3 different desserts and they were all Okay wo
Tried out Ambrosia with some friends on a Sunday evening. We sat outside in their large amount of on street seating and had a good time. While it is BYOB, drinks options were also available if wanted. Service was great throughout with congenial service and recommendations. In terms of food, the men
Top tier fine dining. The food was absolutely incredible so flavorful and creative. Went with a total of 4 people and we each got an appetizer and entree and then we also got 2 desserts and it didn’t even end up being 200! Only thing I will say is it’s very tight and we were sat right across from th
This tiny little hidden gem has big flavorful Italian food. The staff is super friendly even though they are super busy. They have a smaller menu with all freshly made pastas and other dishes. This grilled octopus was fantastic, along with all the short rib dishes, pasta dishes and the steak was to
Every appetizer, and every meal was simply perfect. Not a pasta person, but this place will have me coming back over and over again. They clearly care about the quality of their food and the uniqueness of the dishes. Extra props for community vibe.
I was with my husband for Valentine’s Day. The food was pretty good a little over price but overall it was pretty good. Our desserts were amazing. I had the crème brûlée and my partner got a seven layer mousse cake. The only thing was that the server didn’t engage with us very much and he literally
Delicious Italian food and excellent service, but definitely expensive!!! The portions were quite small for the price and we were still hungry after dinner. The free bread and dip was amazing and we were happy they provided more when we asked. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was q
Absolutely incredible. The truffle tortellini and the duck were highlights. Perhaps slightly too fast paced, but the restaurant is small so I understand their wanting to move us along. It’s BYOB but they also offer a wine/beer/cocktail menu.
George, the manager, was courteous and helpful. Menu is curated surprisingly well with successful flavor combinations and freshness. Beet salad with pistachios as an example. Great ambiance and service as well. Only gripe I had is that the mussels were practically tasteless… but still one of my favo
We strolled to Ambrosia on a leisurely (observed) holiday Monday looking for lunch and to take advantage of the unseasonably nice weather. Upon arrival, we were delighted to find it was not too busy (looking at resy shows prime reservations book up quickly) and were promptly seated in one of the out
Delicious Italian BYOB restaurant near Rittenhouse Square. They have a nice indoor setting with exposed brick walls and plenty of tables that creates a vibrant atmosphere. Service is fast and thorough; they do a great job making sure everything comes out hot and to order. Prices range from $16-32 fo
This place was incredible. The rustic warm ambiance and the friendly greeting of Pooja was so inviting to set the tone for the night. Once seated we were greeted by our waiter instantaneously and our food came out perfectly and plated so well. So impressed by this place !!! wow
Amazing place. The atmosphere is very cozy. The short ribs were prepared meticulously - soft and juicy. It’s BYOB so you can bring your own wine! Leave some room for dessert!
