The best cacio e pepe I've had in Philadelphia. I also tried their tortellinis that are stuffed with mushroom, mascarpone and ricotta that I really liked but was a bit salty for me. The Pistachio Panna Cotta was the show stealer that almost made me forget how long I had to wait there to get a table on a Wednesday night! Good cocktails as well.

Pretty good, I’d say. I ordered the ravioli and an Italian beer. The beer was great and the ravioli quite flavorful, though it seemed just a touch pricey for the portion. It also came out very slightly on the crisp side, though it certainly didn’t suffer for that.

There were ups and downs with this place but it is obviously a local favorite, many repeat customers and those that were first timers announced it and were excited to try the place. Food started really strong with the beef carpaccio, the special halibut was great minus the halibut being a touch on the dry side, I would suggest a basting with a pan sear finish. The tiramisu was also good, but the taste of Hersey chocolate sauce totally threw me off and lessened my experience, solution is easy, just order it without!.As one should expect, the by the glass wine menu is extremely limited, definitely more by the bottle, but I would say a strong majority of tables brought their own, I could see how this helps the smaller restaurant operate at there top most. The service for the most part was great, there was definitely staff in training so some obvious slip ups. I honestly think they felt a little bad when they thought I was going to be a quick singleton table but they warmed up after they realized my bill would probe more than the table of 4 near by. The AC was pumping hard due to the kitchen, warm and humid weather but it was dripping on me in multiple places throughout dinner, not sure they could have done much to fix it though, and probably only happens under these more specific weather conditions. All around I would go back and recommend adding this spot to your rotation!

The caesar salad and duck were absolutely amazing, we also ordered the octopus, crispy gnocchi and rigatoni which were average. Not sure how I would rate this place definitely need to come back. The service was great. The food was a hit and miss. We got 3 different desserts and they were all Okay wouldn’t order again. Defiantly want to give this place another try.

Tried out Ambrosia with some friends on a Sunday evening. We sat outside in their large amount of on street seating and had a good time. While it is BYOB, drinks options were also available if wanted. Service was great throughout with congenial service and recommendations. In terms of food, the menu was fairly standard Italian options with a nice variety which should cover most people's food choices. The dishes we got were solid overall, however my general issue was a lack of spice/flavor. With that said - I would come back if my friends wanted to.

Top tier fine dining. The food was absolutely incredible so flavorful and creative. Went with a total of 4 people and we each got an appetizer and entree and then we also got 2 desserts and it didn’t even end up being 200! Only thing I will say is it’s very tight and we were sat right across from the kitchen (which has no partition) so we were kind of lacking privacy. But if we were sat in the back where there was a little more space, it would have been PERFECT!

This tiny little hidden gem has big flavorful Italian food. The staff is super friendly even though they are super busy. They have a smaller menu with all freshly made pastas and other dishes. This grilled octopus was fantastic, along with all the short rib dishes, pasta dishes and the steak was to die for. The best part is it is a BYOB. I would suggest reservations because the place is tiny and gets packed. They do have awesome outdoor seating for when the weather is nice.

Every appetizer, and every meal was simply perfect. Not a pasta person, but this place will have me coming back over and over again. They clearly care about the quality of their food and the uniqueness of the dishes. Extra props for community vibe.

I was with my husband for Valentine’s Day. The food was pretty good a little over price but overall it was pretty good. Our desserts were amazing. I had the crème brûlée and my partner got a seven layer mousse cake. The only thing was that the server didn’t engage with us very much and he literally dropped the check as we got our desserts, which I thought was pretty rude, also the busser was literally cleaning the plates as we were trying to finish our dinner, and we told them that we were still eating, so we literally were there for probably 30 minutes, I understand it was Valentine’s Day and they want to flip as many tables but I felt a little pushy.

Delicious Italian food and excellent service, but definitely expensive!!! The portions were quite small for the price and we were still hungry after dinner. The free bread and dip was amazing and we were happy they provided more when we asked. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was quite small so make sure to get a reservation especially for fridays and weekends!
