Gabby our ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS server was amazing! First trip here and will definitely be back. For it to be a busy, packed Friday, we got sat in a timely manner, got our drinks from a packed bar at a great time and everything was perfect! Food was fresh and I’m telling you! Our waitress, Amy, was amazing and made our first time awesome. We tried the cream of crab soup, clam chowder, crab balls, oysters, and tuna nachos for apps - all great, especially the crab balls. We had scallops and salmon for entrees with amazing sweet potato fries. Also, if you’re a coleslaw person, theirs is good. All team members pre-bussed each other’s tables and everything came out promptly. We will definitely come back!

Fun place to watch the game. Food has changed not as great as I remembered buffalo shrimp fell off, cheesesteak not my daughter's favorite but that spicy crab soup was really good. My grilled salmon was cooked well.

Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Lots of seating. The food was delicious and served hot. We loved their crab soup. Our drinks were good. They even make a mocktail for our 6 year old. Our waitress was awesome. The wait for food was not long. The only reason I gave them a 4 is because the bathroom could use some work and the music was not appropriate for the family atmosphere. The music playing loudly was catered more towards the bar patrons. I am usually pretty forgiving of foul language but it didn't seem like the right choice for 7pm on a Saturday night.

The waiting and bar staff are polite and attentive. They have amazing buffalo wings I tend to get them fried hard. Went there for a recent boxing event and was pleased to see there was room to sit at the bar. Will be returning for future fights, sporting events, and happy hours!

The place scores a 5 out of 5 stars for food and atmosphere! Do yourself a favor and order the buffalo shrimp. Absolutely delicious. All parties at the table satisfied with their dishes. The service was traditional Philly bar friendly.

Listen this was my first time here and the stuffed salmon with the lump crab meat was so delicious! Those nachos was nothing I ever had before and it was so perfect I will be back again!

Fun place to have some seafood, big statue of Benny greets you at the door. Little neck clams were delicious, had the right mix of garlic,lemon and butter. Staff is really nice, you won't regret going there #dining #seafood #food

Food is always delicious! I had the crab cake sandwich with sweet potato fries it comes with a carmel dipping sauce 😋 and the seafood soup I cannot remember the name but I absolutely love it . If u like spicy food this is your place to go .

In this shopping center, businesses have come and gone. Bennys has been the anchor. And am I thankful.
We have never had a bad meal. In fact, everything is so good, we tend to order more than we can eat in one sitting. That's good though. This way we can enjoy the leftovers the next night.
The cream of crab is good but could use more crab.
Side Caesar salad is scrumptious and large for a side salad.
I like the penne vodka with crabmeat. Enough for 2 meals.
Bread is warm.
Music is a little loud which makes discussions hard to hear.
But, food, is amazing!!!

I have been going to Benny's for YEARS (8+) and I've seen waitresses and bartenders cycled out, some fired and some hired. In establishments like these you rarely see constant employees and/or constant good service. One bartender in particular has always shown me a good time no matter what day of the week I visit.The traffic in house has never stopped her from accommodating me and my outrageous request at times. I've recommended a lot of people to check this place out. I never mention or recommend where to sit (bar area or dining area). I almost always receive a phone call or texts from my referrals mentioning how good she was to them. They refer to her as the tall skinny blonde girl and some remember her name.
Jenna is very accommodating, personable , and attentive.
I am a Store Manager for a very known retailer and I am a strong believer that service should never be skewed regardless as to the day of the week or bartender/wait staff. Good service should always be a constant. Any time I go somewhere I watch how employees interact with one another ( again I am a store manager and I supervise 19 employees ). Often at times we are quick to write a review for bad service but we never write reviews for the good service we receive.
Jenna is one of it not the only reason I continuously visit this bar. I've come on other nights when she's not there and the service is just ok. Not terrible but nothing worth raving over.

We'll where do I start! The barmaid there at 5:30 sucked big time! It took several minutes to get a drink....she was very stand off towards me and friendly to everyone else at the bar, then I finally get my drink in a dirty glass(smudges on the outside) so then I ordered food which that waitress was great! I gave her the tip! As well as the food, and the music!

Usually service is great, but yesterday it was poor. Waitress was slow, had to ask for bread extra napkins, boxes to take food home.. Food was not as good as it usually is, scallops missing out of one of the entree’s. Mushrooms missing out of another. Disappointed!

Food is very good. The 5th time being there and don't feel welcome there though. Walk in and takes a few employees to walk pass you before you are greeted. After being seated took over 5 minutes before getting water and another at least 15 minutes before drinks. Wasn't eating my meal til about an hour later.

What happened to this place?. Ten years ago, this was my go to place in the North East. This place has slipped. The service was poor, the food was sub par. The clams and oysters were passed their freshness date. It seems to have turned into a nightclub complete with loud music and drunken college kids.

Don't Waste your Money. What a disappointment! On a positive note......... ahhhh there were none to be found. Cons....parking SUCKS......restroom accommodates (1) at a time? The food was GREASE spoon like licking the bottom of a deep fryer. The staff must have had a poker game in the kitchen when we were they cause they were gone for 15 mins at a pop. <br/><br/>Confused cause we walked in and saw a statue of a fisherman..... must be a seafood place right? They had a buffet serving chicken and wings....Benny caught that chicken in the sea. After an hour inside it was evident that is a combo establishment (Bar, Buffet, noisy Night Club) The LOUD music and disco lights made it impossible to talk to friends without screaming in the ear. Clearly someone doesn't have a clue ..... in summary if you're looking for a place NOT to go you've found it here.!

I've lived in the Northeast for a long time so I've been to Benny the Bums quite a few times over the years. Tonight I went and was very disappointed. The crowd was blah, the shrimp and scallops were overcooked and tasted like cardboard. I was surprised, this restaurant really went down hill over the years. It's just crappy. The atmosphere and everything about it. For the prices they charge it's not worth it. I can go to Chickie's for the same price and have a blast with fabulous food and service. Benny's really lost their appeal.

Looks like a very nice place with good food but when it comes too service one of the worst place I have ever been. I have been going to bars/ resurants for along time and by far the worst bartenders I have ever delt with. I have never in my life before have had to wait so long for service. While I sat at the Bar for no lie 10 min the bar tenders were taking shot and completely ignoring me. This place must higher employees with no experince(and with some substance abuse problems). But that is enough for me I would never recommend this place to anyone. For point of reference I am in a family that works in the business and would never post a negative review about a business but by far this experince had to be told.

This place came highly recommended. We went with great expectations. Not only was it loud and rowdy from the bar, the food was overpriced, skimpy portions and very ordinary! Would not waste my money to come back again! Very overrated!

Benny the Bums Crabhouse -. The food is excellent, tho the high prices only barely make it worth it. I would say that it is worth going to rarely, like once or twice a year but, not more often than that. <br/><br/>I do like this place but, it is NOT one of my favorites!
