All around beautiful place with an amazing staff and the food was perfection. Dandelion dumplings, stuffed chicken wings, scallops all amazing. Great date night. Very impressed.

Loved the evening at this place. First, it was so intimate and cozy. The waitress was so friendly and explained the prix fixe menu. Every item was delicious, beautifully plated and worth the price. It was BYOB, so that was nice. My favorite dish was the seared tuna main course. This is a must visit! The even had a candle on my boyfriend’s dessert for his birthday!

Love to escape the hustle at this friendly, warm spot. Easy decisions with the coursed menu. Everything is delicious. Great accommodations for dietary restrictions and all done with a smile and even some empathy to match. It's a nice respite for those of us who hate to be a nuisance but try to meet our own needs when we go out.

Excellent menu, service, concept and BYOB! Very tasty, just enough food each course. We went with the tasting menu which is one from each of three sections plus dessert. Exceptional from start to finish. Very fresh, authentic, and tasty without being over the top. A new local favorite.

Heard this was the best new restaurant in the country according to Food & Wine and had to try it out. It was very, very good. The menu is small, as is the restaurant itself. We had a table for two behind the counter seating which was nice and comfortable. I actually wondered aloud how some couples squeezed into their tables since they are so close. Don’t expect private conversations here! The staff was great: very knowledgeable, friendly, attentive. The food was extremely well-prepared and the chefs are obviously skilled. I really liked everything I had (other than the roasted olives which were ordinary). We will definitely give this another try. BYO

I don't know how to begin raving about this restaurant. It's Chez Panisse but modern and less precious. Dishes were big and hearty, and so dang Californian. They fed us well, they really did. Acid was the common theme throughout the meal; we were delighted by how sour notes kept coming up to lighten the umami of a lot of the ingredients. I can easily see why the duck, served two-ways, is a crowd favorite and a constant on the menu. The duck breast was perfection - beautifully tender medium-cooked meat, served alongside an incredibly balanced combination of textures and flavors from the crisp and tart side salad, to luscious mushroom sauce. But I loved the confit even more. I had an ASMR experience cutting into the crisp skin, but what made this dish truly divine for me was the pairing of the meat with the sour/spicy slaw, that reminded me of an Indonesian version of slaw. Another dish I loved was the quail and bean salad; I could just eat tubs of that bean salad for days on end. It has inspired me to go make some of @alisoneroman's bean stew. What is so special about this restaurant, for me, is summarized in this dish - it's so wonderfully complex; so many diverse flavors and textures in the same dish, and it absolutely works. 1. wagyu beef tartare, smoked cheddar, rutabaga, steak sauce 2. fluke crudo, shellfish aioli, smoked onion, charred radish, shiitake 3. corn flour panisse, smoked lamb, pickled beets, olive, almond 4. n'duja stuffed quail, bean salad, cornbread croutons, calabrian honey 5. keiser's duck, mushrooms, sunchoke, sichuan, sunflower 6. musubi 7. chocolate bread pudding, pomegranate, sesame oil 8. ricotta mousse cake, honey ice cream, cara cara orange

Amazing new American restaurant. The dishes were next level, creative combinations of flavors. The sauces they created complimented the dishes perfectly and the progression from 1 to 4 had a theme easily remembered: Delicious 😋 I will be back.

Arguably one of the best restaurants in Philadelphia. Even though their pre-fix menu is limited, you really can't go wrong with whatever you pick. A strong recommend to anyone looking for a nice night out.

The food was fabulous! Every course an explosion of new flavors. My favorite was the riced potatoes (pictured) with an incredible combination of ingredients making this an amazing experience! Our server, Andrew, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

We had a lovely meal. The beef filet was mind blowing and the kampachi crudo took the cake. It was bright and flavorful, a truly refreshing dish. I can't wait to come back and try everything I missed!

Food was very good, but extremely expensive. Atmosphere was fantastic, very welcoming, and they make the experience feel personal. However, the menu has almost no details: only the ingredients of each dish are listed, nothing about how they're prepared. As a result of this, I didn't know that one of my dishes was raw until it arrived at the table. I sent it back, and had the cheese plate instead. They handled the situation well, but it could have been avoided in the first place if the menu was more informative.
