I had a fabulous time at Moustaki! I ordered the Lamb Gyro entrée with waffle fries, white pita, rice and tzatziki. The lamb was succulent, the waffle fries crispy and tzatziki simply delicious. This was my first time trying Greek cuisine, and I was not disappointed! The staff were also really friendly and helpful, and the dining area was cool and felt very homely (there were a lot of people in the restaurant at the time). 5/5 restaurant in my opinion

Delicious food and generous portions! If you have a big group, I recommend getting and sharing the Moustaki platter (3 platters) - the lamb and tzatziki are very tasty!

What a great find right next to the Franklin Institute. The service was fast and friendly. The food was very tasty (especially the Gyro Fries)! Definitely the best value we've had in the city! This will absolutely be a regular everytime we go the the Franklin Institute.

I was out walking and saw Moustaki signage on a building. I suddenly made plans to dine here. I received a Menu in my mailbox and recognized the Moustaki name. A fantastic treat! I chose the Loukaniko Entrée with wheat pita and tzatziki, waffle fries and roasted vegetables. Stopped by here when the $14 sandwich at the museum didn't sound appealing. So glad i made the <5 minute walk, the food was delicious! I had the lamb gyro, and i was really hoping it'd be shaved lamb, but unfortunately it was those little strips of ground lamb. Oh well, i get that shaved lamb might be too exotic for the locals and they can't justify stocking it. At least the strips were tasty - they didn't taste like they'd been stuck in the back of the freezer for 6 months or more. The pita was amazing, though! So fresh and doughy, and lightly grilled on the outside. Add a side of perfectly cooked and seasoned waffle fries, and a little bottle of Greek orange soda, and we were happy campers.

Very tasty food. Restaurant is clean and has lots of natural light. I enjoyed the roasted vegetables and goat cheese. I had a "bowl". The portion was average.
Only thing I didn't like was all the chicken was dark meat. Every piece.

The chicken in the gyros is so juicy and flavorful. The avgolemeno soup is amazing, will 100% order again.

I stopped in here for lunch a few days ago, and opted for the Lamb Gyro Platter. I chose the lemon potatoes and the gigantic beans as sides. It was a very filling and delicious meal and highly recommended if you have skipped breakfast.

Such a great find! Nice neighborhood gyro place for lunch on a nice sunny day where the breeze can come through the big open windows. The moustaki platter is perfect for two people!

Incredible quality and flavor! This was our first visit and we got lamb gyro and lamb cheese pizza. This was the best pizza I’ve had in Philly. I was really blown away. Truly deserving of the high reviews.

We ordered takeout about 5pm on a Thurs, a lamb gyro (they were out of pork) & a Greek salad. There were a few people there, a family of 4 & a couple. Altho not a huge place, at that time there was plenty of seating & it was very clean in & outside. Inside had a large open window to allow in the outdoor light & mellow weather. The person taking our order was very pleasant. It only took about 10 minutes to get our food, which we took back to our hotel to eat, about 45 minutes later. Everything was safely packaged (so no spillage in the bag) & flavorful. The 2 of us split the food & had plenty to eat. Dinner for $25+tip. If we weren't tired from "touristing" all day, it would have been nice to sit outside (I think they were small picnic-style wood tables) to people watch while we ate. We were on foot, so I didn't notice about the parking situation.

The Gyro Fries are incredible. The Loukoumades are even better. Loved trying this place and eating outside across from the Franklin Institute.

Seating is available inside or outside. Decided to site outside and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. My meal was brought out to me and I couldn't have been happier with the portion size and overall flavor of the food. The salad was dressed nicely and the lemon potatoes were not overpowering. The lamb gyro and tzatziki sauce were delicious together and on their own. Combine that with the soft pita and I felt transported back to Greece. Job well done.

A really neat place, but way the food is way too inconsistent. When they get the order right, it is delicious, but sadly, they frequently mess up the orders. Sometimes the meat is super tender, and sometimes it has been put on the grill and heated until it is all crunchy and disgusting. Sometimes there is way too much meat, and sometimes there is far too little.
And sometimes they put tons of french fries in the sandwich, and sometimes they put too few in. And sometimes they are oily and soggy waffle fries that have been sitting around in a warmer for far too long, and sometimes they are fresh french fries.
My officemates agree that the food is just way too inconsistent. We are no longer going to Moustaki, but I will miss their good gyros (which were good about 25% of the time).
The people who work their though, are super friendly and always smile. A huge thank you to them for always making my visits cheery :)

This place is hot, as in order food for pickup, that is the only reason for the 3 star rating. I feel terrible for all their employees.
However the food is very yummy. The lamb greek nachos were better than expected, I will definitely be ordering this again. So glad I ordered extra tatziki, I've put it on everything til I ran out.
