Celebrated a family member's birthday here. We had a very large party (just under 20 people) and when we called to make a reservation, they were happy to accommodate us. The interior was clean and the buffet options were a great variety considering the smaller space! We had a mixture of vegetarians and meat eaters - all felt that they had a good amount of options to choose from. I also appreciated that the spice in some of the dishes was good and not too muted (I've found at some other Indian restaurants, they tend to tone down the spice so much that it feels tasteless). The price was also very reasonable. Will definitely be back again!

I have been eating here regularly since the 1990’s. Friendly staff, delicious vegan options & a killer price for the all you can eat buffet keep me coming back. Hopefully when you’re there for dinner their amazing samosas are available on the buffet line. Stellar!

I was here for lunch. Had buffet, options were really good. I loved the appetizers: tandoori chicken, fried chicken wings and dessert. The food was not spicy as I expect from authentic Indian food, samosas were dull and so was most of the curry in main course. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for Indian food, buffet was at a reasonable price. The taste of food was good, I just have a personal bias about spice level that makes me inclined to give a 4 star review. I recommend kheer(rice pudding) in dessert to anyone planning on visiting this place. Staff was really friendly and welcoming (5/5) and the place was clean (5/5). Restrooms were clean and in good condition.

I had the pleasure of dining at New Delhi Indian Restaurant last week and I was blown away by the food, the service and the atmosphere. The restaurant is located in a beautiful old building in the heart of Philadelphia and the interior is decorated in traditional Indian style. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious. I started with the samosas, which were crispy on the outside and perfectly spiced on the inside. For my main course, I had the special chicken curry which was made with fresh tender chicken in a rich and flavorful sauce. I also had the garlic naan which was perfectly cooked and had a great flavor. To finish off my meal, I had the mango lassi which was refreshing and delicious. I would highly recommend New Delhi Indian Restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Indian meal. The food is top-notch the service is excellent and the atmosphere is beautiful. I can't wait to go back again soon! And last but not the list The Tea was just awesome…

I found this place by accident and did the lunch buffet. The food is so good and they offer dessert! I thought the price was decent.

THE BEST OF THE BEST INDIAN! The food is always amazing, the owners a great guy and the prices are unbeatable. If you want the best Indian in Philly this is your spot. I highly recommend trying the spicy options if you like heat, they have plenty of option’s available.

A truly great deal for a lunch buffet. Over the past few months, this spot has become our guilty pleasure for that one hour lunch outing in the middle of a work day. It’s about $14 per person and they have a 10% discount if you’re a student. The selection is wonderful. They have a very north Indian centric menu. Think of any popular (almost cliché) Indian dish and they have it. Chicken Tikka Masala, Flatbread, several Rice varieties, Chickpea curry, Tandoori Chicken, Kofta etc. The list goes on. They also have a couple of deserts (Kheer and Gulab Jamun) and some Masala Chai (Spicy tea) that’s excellent for taking with you to the office. I highly recommend it. Great little spot!!!

This is the best place in Philadelphia for authentic north Indian food. The curries are extremely delicious and is like sufficient for two easily. The gulab jamun is also highly recommended. The aloo paratha is easily passable as an Indian street-side stall food.

This buffet is very clean. I liked the music they played. Overall it wasn’t the best Indian food I’ve had but it hit the spot for what I wanted. If you’re in the area and are craving Indian food, definitely a good option. I hope next time some of the food that’s been sitting for a long time can get replaced.

My boys walk up and down like it's Metal Gear Solid during a security breach, searching for any way to help you! It was weird at first but I'm down with it. Great food! PS: Don't sleep on the potatoes/kidney beans

The food was good ,wouldnt say great. I liked the ambience and the music that they play. They also serve local indian beer . The service was good. It was one of those indian restaurants I would go just to kill my indian food hunger. I wish they had more varieties and worked on making the naan better. Also I wish they had more dessert options. Had just 1 dessert in buffet.

Service is a Lil quirky, not sure if you should clear ur own plate or not. But they are friendly and frequently available. Food is hot and seems fresh, although variety is limited. Definitely worth a try to experience, I will be back.

This is the first time me and my consort went to this buffet I have to say this is the best one yet that I’ve been too, the food was very very good and there utensils were very clean and shiny the water was very excellent as well. The atmosphere was good and the manager and attendants were very attentive to us and made our stay very welcoming we will definitely be coming back here again.

Wonderful, flavorful food in a relaxed environment. The buffet is open, you must wear a mask and get a new plate when going to the buffet. They have a good selection of dishes at the buffet. It is an all day buffet. I will definitely be back here.

Craving satisfied. Delicious food is an understatement. Staff was courteous. Haven’t been here since we moved but definitely worth the drive. FYI: Buffet etiquette has changed since Covid, just look to the sign by the plates on how to proceed.

Been going here since 1988. I hate ordering Indian food off a menu and sitting and waiting for it. I care about me, myself and I being my own portion control too as well as I love the variety a good buffet can afford everyone. The food here is always excellent, the people who have worked there over the years have and still do make this place more than a pedestrian buffet; this place has character and something for the lone diner or the large group. The standard Indian food varieties are all here and well done with an eye toward freshness. This has always been a mainstay of mostly college students and faculty. The only issue is this used to be one of the best deals in town for any buffet in terms of price. Prices here have risen to where it will cost you at least 15.00+with tip included. And they used to give you included in your buffet charge a cup of coffee and dessert. But now the coffee and dessert are separate items. Otherwise, this place is like coming home for your favorite Indian food buffet.

Excellent buffet setting. Ambience is just about right. Reasonably priced Indian dishes and you can't miss its location. The Indian dishes include chicken tandoori, chicken tikka masala, goat curry, naan, vegetable samosas, a variety of salads and dessert in the form of Indian milk balls , gulam jamun. You can also get a la carte items instead of the buffet. They do serve alcohol and they have 2 TVs. Would highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

We have been going to New Delhi for more than 18 years. My kids have been taught to eat here and they love it. Uncle Rick is the best and all the waiters are like family, Luis, Jessi, Arabi. I appreciate you guys and the food keeps calling me back.

We order from here several times a month and have never been disappointed. Hands down best naan in the city.

The food here is exceptionally delicious, the service is great and the atmosphere is welcoming. I am never done eating at this awesome place and it's been 15 years for me. I am happy Philadephia has a truly authentic Indian restaurant with appetizing quality in food and excellent service.

My son and I went here for the first time as we are in Jersey but it was pretty good. Only a notch under our fav place in Jersey. The staff were so attentive and friendly which honestly is half of dining out. Would def visit again when over in Philly

Coming from New York I can honestly say this is the best Indian food I’ve ever had.

My favorite spot. It now takes me almost an hour to go and come back and I will still make the trip. I need them to open a second location in the burbs. Come uptown.... We love Indian food too
