Incredibly kind and attentive waitstaff, very nice atmosphere, and the food was 10/10. We got the cheese stuffed naan, chicken tikimasala, mango smoothie and a lamb dish… out of this world! Highly recommend going!!

I have been coming to this place for about 6 years now. I used to get it all the time, I moved away for a couple years, and recently came back and the quality and quantity are still incredible! The front desk guy Joe is really cool and the food is amazing. For real, this is my number one favorite place to eat in Philadelphia. I always get the Lamb Korma and it's the best I've ever had. If you enjoy Indian food, I can't recommend this place enough.

The good:
The Chicken Korma, Chicken Saag and Baingan Bharta we're delicious and appropriately spiced (both flavor and spicy)
The bad:
Samosas were the worst part of the meal, would not order those again.
They have easy online ordering for both pick up and delivery, great for a take out night!

Our favorite takeout meal, we order nearly 1x a week. Vegetarian options are all incredible and the delivery is always quick. Best Indian food in the city IMO!

Ekta is my favorite take-out Indian food in Fishtown. We order from here often and it's always hot and ready to eat the second we receive it! Would highly recommend ordering from here.

The customer service here is fantastic and they are very hospitable! It's byob and they will kindly provide glasses and bottle openers for you if you bring wine! The Indian food is amazing! There are so so many options to try I want to keep coming back to try them all! My favourite is anything with spinach and cheese curds. They give complimentary crackers and dip as well, but they only gave me and my friend one dish of rice to share, which wasn't enough for each of us to use with our food.

Food was amazing. Had the garlic naan, chicken tikka, aloo chaat, vindaloo, and biryani. Only thing with the vindaloo is it tasted a little overspiced

Absolutely delicious. I love Indian food and what we had, Lamb Chettinad and Mango Chicken were so good it was difficult to decide which one we liked more (Chettinad, I think, but it was really close). I had a Guava Lassi that was delicious too.

I can't say enough good things about Ekta. They offer free delivery, it always comes hot, and it is always delicious! Their mutter paneer is one of my favorite dishes to eat in all of Philadelphia. It's my go to comfort food -- I could eat it any day, any time, alone or with friends, happy or sad, literally any situation. I love Ekta!

I've been to every Indian restaurant in the Philly area and Ekta is the best without a doubt. I can't overstate how delicious the Tandoori chicken and paneer Tikka is. Their white rice is the best I've had as well. I believe that this location offers takeout and delivery only.
