This is such a nice cozy restaurant. As soon as you walk in the staff are very friendly. We had the pleasure of having Jack be our server that night. The restaurant was packed but he made sure we had everything we needed.

Our sever Julia was excellent. Very nice, accommodating, quick service, never had yo ask for refills or anything. Julia was attentive but not overbearing. Enjoyed a quick dinner with my family. We were so hungry I remembered to take pics after we began eatingđ. Nice place to go impromptu.

Very good overall. I had a three-course meal as part of a special University City restaurant week. The appetizer was skewered chicken, beef tacos for the main course, and a sundae for dessert. Nothing stood out too much, and it was devoid of vegetables, but all fresh and tasty overall. Good service and atmosphere too.
There was just one big problem which I hesitate to mention because it wasnât the Landmarkâs fault. One of my fellow patrons brought a holstered pistol in with him and the staff didnât bat an eye. The patron wasnât breaking the law, and in fact itâs debatable how legally binding a restaurant policy against firearms would be. It might have been legitimately for self-defense, and you wouldnât think University City spots would turn into gang hangoutsâ but Iâve seen things. The guy sat somewhere in back of me the whole time and all I could think about was the Sopranos ending. Really more of a Philly thing than a Landmark thing, Iâm sure.

Went a few months ago so I'm a little late, but the place was phenomenal. I ended up getting a chicken Caesar salad, and it was fantastic. The pineapple sunrise was perfect, and my server, Jack, recommended the Lava Cookie for dessert and it was great! Jack was very attentive and made sure I was taken care of without being overbearing. It's very hard to come by a server who actually seems to care about his job nowadays.

The food was pretty good and they didnât add the onions like I had asked for. The service was great too, very friendly and checked in on me often. The table was awfully shaky though. Overall 4.7/5.

Food was prepared well, and is very tasty. I have tried the Drunken Tacos, Chicken Ranch Wrap, Seafood Bisque, and the Maryland Crab Dip so far! The tacos had a bit of a spice to them, not overwhelmingly spicy but, has a kick. The Chicken Ranch wrap was superb! You get bits of seafood in every bite of the Seafood Bisque, highly recommend. This review spans across two visits. The service was great on both occasions nice atmosphere.

Always a good vibe when I come here. Went early on a Monday. It was maybe two other people there so it was really nice and quiet. Service was good. Food was fresh.

I work in University City and have been to this restaurant many times over the years. I have not been there in the last few years due to the pandemic. I went to dinner, it was a party of 2. We were seated right away and the service was quick. We ordered Cheesesteak egg rolls (half price for happy hour), Main Strret Burger (with fried egg added), and Birria Tacos. When the bill came, I noticed the "Service Charge" (gratuity) of 20% was already added. I thought that usually happened with larger parties. I saw at the bottom of the receipt suggestions for an additional tip. Although we had good service and food and I would have tipped 20%, it should be optional for a smaller party.

Had a business lunch here. I work in the area and there were a number of negative reviews, but it was convenient. The food here is pretty good for bar food. All the sandwichâs and fries were good. I had a salmon sandwich, which I didnât expect to be good from a place that doesnât specialize in seafood, but it was actually quite tasty. One thing I didnât appreciate though (even though I always leave 20% tip anyway) is that for a party of 2 they automatically applied a 20% service charge. I almost double paid if I didnât look closely. I get places doing it with 6 or more, but 2?

Heard good things about this restaurant from a few friends and decided to try them out on Uber eats. My bf and I both got the loaded chicken plates and they were SPECTACULAR âźď¸You get a great amount of chicken and itâs juicy and perfectly seasoned. The mashed potatoes are to die for! Theyâre so creamy and just melt in your mouth. The brussel sprouts are slightly sweet and salty but the sweetness is a desired taste that balances the meal very wellđ¤¤đ¤¤. The staff at the entrance were extremely friendly and my food was ready when I got there and still at a hot temperature. Will definitely dine in next time!

I had a great lunch with my colleague at Landmark today. It wasn't crazy crowded, but there was a nice lunch crowd. Our server greeted us right away, & our food arrived shortly, thereafter. I absolutely love the garlic parmasean wings, garlic parmasean fries, baked, onion soup, & cheesesteak egg rolls. We didn't eat all of our food, so the leftovers are going to be amazing!!

Great place for groups. We had two tables in a corner booth. It was very nice. The food and service was good. They brought over a pitcher of water for us, which was nice. Overall, a good experience. I would definitely come here again.

Service was quick and the food was hot and fresh. First time in a long while I didnât have an issue with something. Maybe new management? The Restaurant was clean and up kept. Parking is horrible.

After doing quite a bit of Christmas shopping, we went here for sisters bday night out. Perfect for a meet & dine, start of a night on town. Parking after 7p was easy. Brussels crazy tasty.

Landmark Americana is a great place to grab a beer and a sandwich when you're hungry late night. The restaurant and bar stays open late, the menu including food. They have an outdoor fire pit area that's great to dine in as well, even in the winter. Sometimes it gets a little crowded, so you have to wait for your food for awhile. In my experience, the grilled cheese was not bad but the veggie quesadilla was really flavorful. Â I felt that the quesadilla was well worth the price. Â Still, I will gladly come back here to relax and have a drink after work.

Service and food exceptional. No wait to be seated; wide menu choices, everything was served hot, good portions; great waitstaff

While there food is good, their customer service is horrendous. A certain brunette hostess made a group of us, 19 and 20, wait until 9pm only to tell us after we waited 15 minutes for a table that they card after 9. Even though this is a general pub rule in Philly, it was so rude and unintelligent of her to wait to tell us. It was vobvious she knew we weren't 21 and she had a really smug pride once she informed us. I'll be taking my business to some of the local pubs who are willing to at least give us take out.

Great burger & beer. I'm glad I didn't read the below reviews because I wouldn't have come here for dinner tonight if I had. I will say that they're not recent, so maybe management has gotten better?

That being said, it was a great burger, phenomenal sweet potato fries with a cinnamon dip that was sweet (but delicious), and a nice beer selection.

Regarding service, there are some issues so the previous reviewers aren't incorrect. We waited for a table (only 2 of us) but, when we were seated, passed many open tables. Then, between our first beer and second beer, the waitress took a very long time to come back. However, our food was very prompt after we ordered it and everything was delicious.

Only in town for 2 nights, but I'd definitely recommend it for those looking for a medium or slightly above average priced burger, fries, & beer.

Run away!. Slow confused service, over priced static menu, union construction workers from the elbow building quaffing budwiesers at the bar for lunch - do not do!

Horrible Service! Don't Use Living Social Voucher Here!. Great nachos and Zango dessert. Terrible crabcakes, warm beer, horrible service. Our waitress was nice, but we used a Living Social voucher and was interrupted during dinner and accused of using the voucher previously. It took time for the manager to admit that the restaurant was at fault, but he seemed annoyed that he had to admit that he was wrong. Very rude. I just wanted leave.
After writing a letter to the company, I was made to feel lucky that I got a meal for a reduced Living Social discount. There are so many other great restaurants in the area, don't waste your time here.

Really bad service. I used to eat at landmark all the time. It was convenient and well priced. The service gradually got worse and worse since the restaurant has been opened. My boyfriend and I even confronted a manager letting him know that they were going to lose our patronage because of how poor the service had become, and that we ate there for maybe 3 meals a week. His exact words were "too bad, what do you want me to do?". Never spent another dime on this chain and it's incompetent staff.

Great atmosphere, pretty good food, decent prices. Great place to catch a game in a great location.

I go here all the time--this is a GREAT place to get sports bar food. Everytime I go the service is usually okay, and the prices are great. I also like the ambience--overall the atmosphere is pretty cool.

Not so good!. I always go to landmark an each time the service gets worse. For use to have to pay so much u wood think they would have nice waitress. They make me feel like I'm not want in landmark. Even when i call to place a order they talk for ever to pick up. An then when u come to pick up your food they keep walking past u. An they don't even say can i help u or anything. I'm done with landmark for the money i spend there i would like some respect an a smile.

Horrible Service. The drinks and late night menu are well priced, but the service is horrible. I have been to Landmark many times and I have never received even remotely good service. The waitresses and bartenders are always in a bad mood and it is a struggle to order food or drinks. Waitresses tend to forget about your round of drinks or food order.

It has pained me so much these last few years, because of financial constraints, not to participate in Restaurant Week and Dine Out for Life . However, this year I thought, perhaps if I give a little, I'll get a little, or a lot! And made Dine Out for Life reservations (Thurs 4/28) at Landmark Americana /University City (3333 Market Street). The restaurant doesn't look very crowded in this picture because I went for a late 3pm lunch. But I can imagine on the nights featuring trivia, musical bingo and open mic, accompanied by various drink specials like $3 Margaritas and $1 Miller Lites, this place is probably hoping with the younger set. It's the perfect college campus first date night. Not too upscale, but a good step above the neighborhood hang-out. The menus are those big fancy book type, normally reserved for Steak Houses, yet inside the menu are comfort foods such as: Mac N Cheese - cork screw with bacon, sharp cheddar and grueyer cheese baked with buttery bread crumbs $8.99 Smoke
