Chic low-lit bar adjoining the restaurant, usually pretty full. The drinks are good, but some are more experimental than satisfying. That said, the staff is really kind and accommodating in switching things out. I’d give 5-stars, I just think it’s so busy table service and bar service are delayed, but by all means intelligent and veteran.

Diego is one of the most impressive bartenders I’ve ever watched work. Upon sitting down, he was making upwards of 5 or 6 cocktails at the same time. He made me the “Long Shadow,” their version of a reposado old fashioned with some Jamaican rum & east India sherry. Wine selection is vast and the food is worth every penny. If you’re in the Rittenhouse area, or even near center city, a.bar is a must go. My suggestions are the wagyu steak and the octopus lyonnaise👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Emily was the sweetest and truly cared about our experience. This place pays attention to detail - food and drinks were amazing. We popped in on our way from rittenhouse park and were blown away

Traditional bartenders whip up some amazing concoctions. The staff is very pleasant and eager to please. The cocktails were creative and delicious. Don't see something that appeals to you. Just tell them what you like and they'll create you a drink you'll love. We will definitely go back every time we're in the city.

This place was in a ritzier area of Philly, but the bar didn't feel too pretentious or overpriced. Our group of four enjoyed all of our cocktails, and we appreciated the unique takes on the classics.

Food was amazing!! I had the pasta with mussels and wow. I think about it daily. My boyfriend had the burger super yummy. We got a honey drink and we had to get another. Loved the service and the food.

Solid cocktail bar with a lot of options depending on your liquor preferences. When we arrived, we grabbed the last two seats at the bar, but saw multiple tables and other bar seats turn over during our stay. If there's a line, it probably won't take long to get in depending on your place in line. They pack in a lot of seats into a relatively small footprint and can only fit a few bartenders behind the bar. As a result, service can be a little delayed if multiple groups order drinks at the same time.
