Review Locust Rendezvous - Philadelphia

Simply the BEST bar in Center City, always welcoming and full of interesting patrons, staffed by a team that knows how to treat customers, especially the fantastic Danielle. Wonderful draft beer selection and don’t let the “dive bar” feel fool ya, the kitchen puts out some delicious food. The daily specials are always top notch! Very glad this place continues to serve the community with excellent service.

This place was a random choice near our Airbnb. The woman working the bar and tables (owner I think?) Was awesome. So sweet and personable. Amazing food. The onion soup 🤤🤤🤤🤤 Prices are amazing too. It's a bit like stepping back in time... but in a good way. The place is well kept up and very clean. A+ and will return when I'm in Philly.

I was introduced to The 'Vous on Halloween and it was such a treat! Nice place to chill, great for watching sports (my NY KNICKS beat the Cavaliers), the Wings and Angry Cheese Balls I ordered were "fire" 🔥 (NY slang for 'amazing'). My server was very attentive and professional... she kept those Chocolate Martinis flowing lol. I'll definitely be back!!!

This place rocks! We popped in after Christmas village and had a great experience. It’s one of the few laid back spots in the area, that offers a nice homey feel. We sat at the bar and the service + food was excellent. One of the best Rueben’s I’ve ever had. Also can’t beat a meal, app, and beer for less than 20 bucks a person!

What a great “dive bar” in the actual CENTER of Center City Philadelphia! In truth, it’s not a dive at all, just a solid establishment that serves stiff drinks and fantastic food with care. In addition to the BEST chicken fingers in town, The Vous has an impressive draft beer selection and a vast number of screens to enjoy every game. Special shout out to Roz and the rest of the incredible staff of women who keeps things moving with expert service. Really a fun time, every time!!!

On the weekdays this place is very chill and slower pace for its atmosphere, it is such nice play to have a talk with your friends. They have a decent selection out of tap beers and canned beers.

First time customer and not a last time customer. The perfect dive bar. Clean, friendly, good food, TVs for sports, etc. Our server Kimberly and the other staff were fantastic and friendly. Turkey club (turkey made in house), eggplant parmigiana platter (homemade), chix parm sammie (homemade) and funnel cake fries. Plus, plenty of quality adult beverages.

Great local bar - more authentic feel than other bars in this area. Stop in, tip well, and enjoy the atmosphere

This is a tiny bar on locust street near a more polished Irish Bar called" Fado". The thing with certain little dives they can pack a punch in the community. I like this place, coming here for the last few years. They have a web site that they updated New drink special daily. Also, they have two unisex bathrooms and A JUKE BOX!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤ This place can comfortably hold 40 people before it starts to feel congested since its so small. The food depending on what you get is good. The only problem I have is the appetizer combo...that small plate is a rip off for$9.25. Not impressed with that app at all but the onion rings (Perfect), Wings and Spanish fries I had are delicious!!!!!!! 🍗🍟🍽

I was here for a first date the other week and had a really good time! I'd never been here before and it's a really nice low key place right in center city. Not too crowded or expensive, just a chill spot to grab some drinks. They also had a specialty drink I'd never seen before that turned out to be quite fun! They sell moonshine soaked Maraschino Cherries for $1 a pop. This was awesome, and as my date mentioned how much she loved cherries I ordered a few. They were very fun. We weren't especially hungry on our date, and decided just to split some nachos. I love some messy bar food as much as the next guy, but it turned out not to be the best for a date. Over all I was very happy to find this hidden gem and will definitely be back.

No problem. Ive been coming here for over a decade and everytime I do I always love the food and the prices. Its my normal jump off point for the night.

Love this hidden gem, 10/10 would recommend! All of their drinks are great, and I highly recommend the french onion soup if you're in the mood for a bite. Very good prices for in the city, and they always have fun decorations around the holidays!

When no other place was open without a wrist band or some other restriction or closing down, this place was open and welcoming. Yes, you could barely fit as super bowl really packed them in. It was also the first place I was able to get a beer and watch the game in a festive atmosphere. Great bartenders, even under that kind of stress! Polite staff as well.

PHL old school restaurant across from the Academy of Music. Excellent food and the servers are amazing. They are engaging and want you to have a great time. Really good daily specials both food and booze. Great prices and portions. I had the French Dip and it was simply delicious. Check this joint out when you are in Midtown. Cheers. 🍻👌🏻👍🏻

Sports bar, a million TV's. Decent American bar food. Friendly staff. Clean, fun, affordable establishment.

I’m not going to lie, I really like this establishment. Between the drink selection, food, and atmosphere it’s a nice little place. The only negative thing I would have to say is the server we had on Friday night. She was very rude and not very hospitable what so ever. Overall I’d go back another time.

A great place to have a drink and a bite to eat. Low key and welcoming. Affordable prices and good service....it’s well worth a visit when your in Center City

Lived in Philly for 45 years then moved to Florida Keys. This is one of the best in town. Always go back, meet friends, do shots, watch the birds. And Tori is the best bartender. God, I miss this place.

I had "supposedly" the best reuben sandwich in Philly....not!....sandwich fell apart. Way too sloppy & greasy. Was not appetizing at all. The fried mushrooms were even worse. Service was good, but the food wasnt as good as its been advertised to be.

My husband and I discovered Rendez-vous on Locust six years ago by chance and we loved it so much that six years down the line in our next trip to the US (we are from Australia) we went looking for it and weren't disappointed again! The ambiance is terrific, the staff super friendly and the crowd is so eclectic from uni students to the grey nomads; the food is good traditional pub grub, the portions big and the prices reasonable. It also has a very western feel to it which makes it pretty cool on a street where all other joints are modern and are offering a fusion kind of food, What is not to like?

I loved this place so much!!! My aunt took me and my boyfriend here to have lunch and it was the perfect spot, especially since I was wanting local food. It tasted great, the service was wonderful, and thank you from a visiting Hoosier.

Quaint little place with very pleasant staff. Only stayed for 1 drink before a show. Would definitely go back when down on the area.

Top notch service, drinks, & atmosphere. Even during a losing Eagles game the place was pleasant, the wings great (better than some spots "known" for their wings), and our bartender (the hot blonde), and server were outstanding. Disregard any of the negative reviews; act properly and you will be rewarded with a great time that won't break the bank. I've been away from the city for a few years and this was a sweet welcome home.

This place punches well over it's weight. The menu specials are outstanding. The staff is lovely.
