Great beers, great food and great service. Lovely selection of local beers on tap with a wider selection of cans and bottles. Great food menu. The burger and truffle fries and the Cheese Sandwich with Ham were both a hit. Staff excellent and didn't rush you. A great first meal on our 2 week US trip from the UK. đź‘Ť

Bartenders are always friendly and willing to help with suggestions, whether it be from the food menu or the long list of beers available on tap.
The beer selection is on rotation, so if you find one that you like, write it down for personal purchases when they stop carrying it!
Love the fact that the kitchen locally sources the food so you can have a fresh meal that hasn't been on a truck for days.

I'm not a big fan of Peanut Butter and Jelly, but their Fried Peanut Butter And Jelly Sandwich is outstanding. I visited a couple donut shops in Philly, but the fried pb & j here left the biggest impression on me.
The IPA from local brewery (Second District Brewing) was aromatic and great. The staff was nice. Great place to enjoy summer coming.

I came here for brunch with a friend and I enjoyed my time. I can only give 3 stars for the food because the deviled eggs were kinda gross. The eggs dish was good - homefries are TO DIE FOR!! The service was incredible even with a lot of filled tables. I would love to go back during normal dinner hours.

Was there for brunch time and had a great time!
Really enjoyed their deviled eggs the seasoning and texture are delightful. The cocktails are also really good! We had a white Negroni and marg both worth a try!

Gotta give the 5 stars, purely for the music played here. They also have a great looking beer menu, but I did not have a chance to get any because I was checking out the cocktails. The atmosphere is great here, and it's worth it just for that. The food was pretty good, and had interesting option, but wasn't quite what I was looking for. The cocktails also seemed very interesting but weren't quite what I was looking for. Overall tho, I'd recommend this place. If not just for the music, atmosphere, good looking beer menu, and good service. I will be coming back for these beers.

Great bar and restaurant off Broad street in South Philadelphia. The beers on tap here are great and they have the most amazing fries 🍟 I have had in a long time in Philadelphia. The dinning area is cozy and great for friends gathering. Cheers 🍻

The food is fast hot and delicious. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The desserts are so banging. We’ve gone back specifically just to pick up their lemon ricotta donuts. One of our favorite spots in the city!

We had a big group and sat outside. Servers were super attentive and visited us out there often. Food was a little bland, but overall good quality. True to its name, fun tap list with lots of variety. Great neighborhood bar.

Great ambiance. Food way above average with the tomato sauce being exceptionally good. Buffalo wings were some of the best I have had in the USA. The burger, although cooked to perfection and properly flame seared, could have done with some more seasoning. Or alternatively salt and pepper on the table. Very fresh ingredients were served with the burger. Good beer selection. Service was good and friendly. Although moderately expensive, an all over great experience.

Decided to try this place out after seeing it pn the food network.
Don't waste your time..we ordered 2 drinks, 2 orders of wings, a fried pb & j sand, and the monte frisco sand..we received our drinks but when I requested my mimosa to be topped off w/ a lil more oj, the waitress charged me for a full cup of oj when I only needed 1/2 oz to balance out my drink. So I questioned the waitress about it and she told me "we can't give away free oj". Therefore, i returned the glass of oj.
30 minutes rolled around and we asked the server how much longer on the food. She told us, "they were busy due to brunch(btw it wasn't that busy) and she can't control how to food was coming out. Yet I watched patrons that came in after us get their food.
45 minutes rolled around and still no food. Once again, we asked what's going on. Our waitress simply didn't give a fuck. Then she had the nerve to bring out the fried pb & j sand that was burned.
We returned the sandwich and requested our check for the drinks only. The waitress was too happy to give us our check as I'm sure she didn't want to wait on us.
We sent a picture of our sandwich to a family member and told him that we don't recommend this spot.

My travels for work had me in Philadelphia three times this year. All three times in the area I stopped in for dinner. This neighborhood pub/restaurant has a small menu featuring a several snacks, appetizers, and entrées. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is absolutely awesome! So far I have tried the deviled eggs, the hamburger, and the grilled tuna steak, all of which were missy presented and tasted great! Another thing I enjoyed about going to SPTR was the CD juke box that featured CDs from many old punk, classic rock, and metal bands! There isn't many places that I have dined on expertly prepared tuna steak while listening to The Clash, the Stooges, Fugazi, and Black Sabbath. In short, this is my kind of place and is one reason I can't wait to go back to Philly!

Drove from ny to philly just to check this place out, i must say hands down will be back again. The burger and fries were awsome, the wings one of the best. A must visit spot.

That had to have been the worst brunch ever.
You would be hard-pressed to find a less-sweet, harder-to-chew French toast. And what was that lingering flavour in the fruit? Whatever it was, don't use it again - ever.
I specifically asked if the coffee was strong band was assured it was. The first sip was a weak, acidic, tart beverage best hidden with copious cream.
And there was a blackberry Bellini in the menu that sounded tasty. It wasn't. I am not sure what was in it besides a single blackberry and questionable cava, but I would never have called it a Bellini. At best, maybe you can change the name to blackberry mimosa.
Perhaps SPTR specializes in the savory.

I stopped by with friends before a concert last night. The atmosphere is really cool, and the food is great. Everyone I went with agreed that we'd definitely come back again. I went with the burger and split a fried pb&j. I'd absolutely recommend both.

The ketchup was was awesome! So were the pickles! And the deserts were amazing! Didn’t have much beer other than the Kenzie one as we were there for the Broad Street Race. Definitely will be back for some more beer drinking when I can!

Great little gastropub. Fantastic beer selection and wonderful food. Super service. Parking requires a bit of patience and luck.

Everytime we go something is great and then something isn’t. This time pork roll was great and Cuban hash was burned and flavorless. Service was good. Inconsistent overall.

We went here on Mother’s Day on a whim, 14 people! They sat us almost immediately, the service was amazing, and the food was awesome! I will definitely go again!

One of the best burgers I've ever had! And the mac and cheese was awesome! For dessert, the fried PB&J...wow!! Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and nice beer selection. Can't wait to go back! A definite gem in Philadelphia.
