The Fitzwater Cafe is an absolute must when visiting Philadelphia. Cute little bistro-style breakfast/brunch place. The food is fresh and thwit fresh squeezed orange juice is delicious. I usually order an omelet and have never been disappointed.
The staff working this morning was so friendly !! Our food came out quick and everything was delicious! Highly recommend the banana Nutella walnut French toast!
This was a nice little find. Everything we had in our party was amazing. It all had a Great presentation and amazing taste. The ambience in this restaurant is wonderful. Cute little bar to sit at or table seating. They actually do have a small parking lot. Which is wonderful. If the parking lot is full it's a little more difficult to find parking on the street.
Unisex bathrooms nice with urinals. However, the restaurant needs to replace the toilet seat as it is not an appropriate size.
This place is truly a gem!! I was visiting Philly and was walking around looking for breakfast. Thankfully I came across this place and decided to give it a try. Upon entering, I was greeted by the nicest staff and seated immediately. There were many great options on the menu and I had a hard time deciding what to order. I'm grateful that I had such an amazing waitress that assisted me! Her name was Alexis and she was the sweetest person I've met! I was recommended the Cafe Breakfast which included French toast, eggs, potatoes with peppers, and turkey bacon. It was so good! Everything was very flavorful and enjoyable! I had a side of coffee as well! I was unaware that most places here in Philly were cash only and I only had a card with me. After eating my food, she was nice enough to direct me to the ATM up the street and allowed me to go get cash. I was so grateful for their trust and kindness! I'd highly recommend dining here and will most certainly come here again when I visit Philly!
Always amazing, always busy, & always worth the wait! Today, we sat at the bar and ordered the specials!
AMAZING food!
I had a great time eating delicious food at fitzwater cafe. The waiters & waitresses were committed to great service & were very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome. Definitely felt good vibes. Most importantly, your coffee was great a long with the menu.
We had a great experience from the hostess to our waiter George to our excellent food! We will definitely return for more :-) The eggs were fluffy, the bacon was just right and the potatoes were perfect. The French toast was excellent as well.

We knew the food would be good when we saw a packed restaurant on a weekday in the late morning. My Cafe Breakfast came with scrumptious French toast, hash browns, fluffy eggs with cheese and 2 sausage patties. We had enough leftovers for another brunch. Their house coffee was tasty and they were good at refilling our cups. The prices are reasonable but know they accept cash only. There is counter seating and small tables best for 2. There is free onsite parking that goes fast. Their Facebook page is their website, if you want to review their menu in advance.
Stopped into town from Georgia(I’m from Philly) and my son told me to eat at Fitzwater cafe for breakfast. What a treat! The food and the service were excellent! Just know you can only pay with cash😉

Great experience with the service. Food was good and tasty. We loved the fresh squeezed orange juice.
The creme brûlée French toast was so good!! The food is delicious and the price is also great.
Had a nice Sunday brunch for four at Fitzwater. It’s a cozy place that has the feel of an old town dinner/cafe. There was a line to get in by 10-11 am. I had scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and a short stack of pancakes. It was all very good. My wife had the breakfast sandwich and enjoyed it. One negative - they only take cash. But a plus - they have a small parking lot which is a big plus in that part of Philly.
