Great selection for the time they prepare it in.. I love the sandwich/soup/salad combos. Chicken panini with tomato basil soup is great. The desserts are so good, but I stay away from the ones that are out on display all day.

I've been visiting Philly for business for the past ten years...minus the pandemic. I stop into this place a few times a week to grab coffee and breakfast on my way into the office. This is my first time back in Philly in three years, and I was so glad to see a familiar face at the Corner Bakery. Wendell has always been friendly and helpful, and he has a great attitude, something that is often missing in the service industry. There is no Corner Bakery where I live, so this is my first time getting my favorite breakfast here, overnight Swiss oats, and hazelnut coffee.

I’ve eaten lunch here but never tried their coffee or pastries. Coffee hot or cold is quite good and reasonably priced. Their blueberry muffins are straight from heaven. They are that good!! Customer service here has really improved. I had a bad experience last year and I stopped going for awhile. Shout out to Ms S. Bert and Bob!! They are an example of what great customer service is.

Well priced, good variety of healthy food choices. Anaheim Panini & Chicken Sausage Power Flat were DELISH! Coffee was quite GOOD!!! Great location near public transport & tourist spots. A business partner brought us some sandwiches for lunch and they were great! We had the Italian for each of us and they brought them to go and they came with a delicious pickle on the side. We will definitely eat there again. Pic not great because we didn't catch before we ate it all lol.

Always consistent. A perfect lunch on a hot day. Get the harvest salad, you won't regret it! Fresh bread and most locations offer a discount on pastries after a certain hour. Love this chain of sandwich and salad places!!

I like the atmosphere of this place. It's located on a nice, open intersection in Center City and you can watch the hustle bustle through the big windows. The seating area is huge, and can totally accommodate large groups. The service was excellent. All the employees were incredibly friendly and super quick. They handled the massive crowds on the morning of the Women's March beautifully, in my opinion. It was very impressive. They definitely know how to hustle! However, the food was mediocre. It was nice to have the option of a plate of eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns at a place that seems more like a coffee joint, but don't expect anything special. That said, I would most definitely eat here again. The flavor wasn't bad and neither was the food. It was so-so, which is perfectly acceptable to me. Overall, I had a good experience.

It's always been a reliable clean place, reasonable food. I haven't been in a while. However I have now been in twice for lunch in the last two weeks. I had the turkey avocado sandwich and the turkey and Avocado chef salad. The salad was surprisingly tasty, and filling. The sandwich was good too. Definitely back on my short list for a meal again !!

Good Lunch Spot<br/><br/>On a rainy day, friends and I popped in for lunch. They are not adventurous eaters, so this was a good choice for them. Straightforward, freshly made food. We each had the combo, 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup. I chose the roast beef and cheddar on focaccia with chicken noodle soup. Tasty comfort food on a dreary day!<br/><br/>Staff was friendly. We ate in the dining room a step up from the counter area. Large, clean area. Good choice for lunch.

I knew better. Did it anyway. Got the massive portion of eggs out of the milk carton. Bacon was ok, but how do you mess up bacon? Coffee so strong it's undrinkable. I knew better. Guess it's my own fault.

Once again, the Corner Bakery at 17th and JFK Blvd. has come through with the power of coffee, the substance of fresh bagels and muffins, and five-star service! With over 20 volunteers staffing the hotline stations and even more volunteers going out to the polls on Election Day, the Corner Bakery has been there to feed and fuel the Committee of Seventy. Especially when polls open at 7am and close at 8pm, coffee is a MUST! Appreciate it, Corner Bakery!

Good lunch spot. The setup is you order and pay at the counter, receive a number, take a seat, and your food is delivered. It was right at lunchtime and the line to the counter was kind of long, but moved quickly. Before you might start thinking about how long it will take, you are placing your order. <br/><br/>I got the Corned Beef Reuben on Caraway Rye Panini and a cup of the Roasted Poblano Corn Chowder. It was busy but they have lots of seating so finding an empty table was not too difficult. The food arrived after a short wait and it was very good. The chowder had a nice southwestern flavor and the sandwich was delicious. <br/><br/>They have a nice selection of items, from soups to salads to sandwiches to bakery items. I liked that they listed calorie info on the menu board to help you choose wisely. It is a good place for lunch.
