The Black Sheep Pub & Restaurant - Philadelphia - Photo album

Was looking for Irish pubs while in town, mission was to have a proper pint of Guinness in a select few pubs. By far this was the best!! Hit it every time and food was A+++++++ will definitely come back!!!
Great Irish bar, good food and fast service. Their Shepard's pie was really good. It was a very crowded sat evening and the sevice was really fast. Oh and the cuban was a hit too.
Great service and a really lively place on matchdays. The caesar salad that we got though, couldn’t match up to the ambience. The chicken tasted like leather and the taste was not good either. The fries were pretty good.
Food was good but not hot. We were in a hurry because we had theater tickets so we didn't send it back. The buffalo wings are some of the best I've had! they were hot and meaty. Fish was warm but chips were tepid. Steak Frites was flavorful but lukewarm. Cider and beer recommendations were both terr
Great place to grab a drink and a quick bite to eat. Their fried chicken sandwich with habanero mayo is great.
My esteemed clients and I were out to a bespoke corporate dinner when we were rudely interrupted by a young gentleman in a b*ndana whom strictly enforced a rule that we were not to season our beverages with the salt and pepper that was readily available to us at our bespoke table. We were disgusted
Cozy pub with a lovely fireplace. Warm, inviting atmosphere. Flatbread with guacamole, avocado and roasted scallions was delicious! Excellent service too. Highly recommend.
Great place, You have to come here, Friendly, Guinness on draft
Great Irish bar. I had the Shepherd's pie (should be Cottage pie as it was beef instead of mutton, but still excellent) and a Guinness Stout. Nice ambiance, great staff and great location near to Rittenhouse Square.
The black sheep is a nice low key pub. The place typically gets pretty crowded. The area is small but the service is good and the drink menu is large. They have a pretty standard meal menu consisting of your typical pub food. The bathrooms are kept clean and the seats (unless you get a booth) are ju
Right off the beaten path in Center City Philadelphia this Irish pub office great atmosphere and a friendly staff. I can only review the fish n’ chips, because that’s all we have - Delicious! We will return … Erin go Bragh
You know what you’re getting with an Irish pub. They’re a Manchester United bar and open early for ManU games. The kitchen will even open early in the morning for the games. Friendly staff. Standard Irish pub food fare and draught list
We've been going here for years. Consistent and always good with friendly service. HIGHLY recommend the lamb chops and the shepherds pie. Always a winner.
Quaint pub with great service and good beer & spirit selection. Food was pretty legit.
Great food! we ordered the Cubano sandwich and it’s very good! The staff is very nice and friendly. Great experience! will definitely come here again. The ketchup in the picture was my mistake! I poured too much in my plate 😅
Only good SIPS deal I've ever seen - the pita and hummus. Awesome service and good drafts. Also try the cheesesteak egg rolls, they're cool too
Update: went a second day. Bartender was great this time. Added a star. Food still so so. Good happy hour but out of one of the wines. Bartender was grumpy. Good service but seemed put out . Place is ok. Food not bad
Great little pub. Service was excellent. We enjoyed our food. Next time I am back in Philly. I would like to go here again.
