I always enjoy eating here. I've been here about 5 times over the past 2 years. Their food is always consistently good and have more distinctive tastes than neighborhood "Chinese food" stores. I love the Bento 🍱 Box but have also had delicious entrees as well. It's always a treat to eat here.
Must say that I have been to a few different locations and the best food is on 9th Street location as well as Lancaster Ave in Wynnewood.. Wynnewood location lunch specials... Make sure that it's cooked fresh. Food was cold..but regular dinner.. Great.
Located within the Sheraton University City this large and attractive restaurant has a very extensive menu and is extremely popular with the Asian students at Penn and Drexel. Reasonable prices and prompt service also make it a good stop for pre theater dining
Love the dumplings and the soups. The only thing I was not 100% in love with was the onions in the pho were way too raw.
The best sweet and sour chicken ever...outside little crispy and the inside deliciously tender. We will definitely go there again. Very clean and friendly
I have eaten here many times and each time is amazeing. I love the yellow curry chicken noodle soup especially if you get the soup broth seperate from the chiken and noodles. Great food, good prices!
With such warm, soft, sweet, and chewy cookies, it is not at all surprising Insomnia Cookies is the most popular dessert place in the heart of campus.
I'm actually quite bitter that a ton of great places came to campus after I graduated (this is one of t
Excellent Chinese restaurant! It’s inside Sheraton so I was expecting maybe a more Western style Chinese food but to my pleasant surprise, it’s very authentic and wonderful for my Chinese palate. The waiter is really friendly. Service is great and food came out quickly. I can tell it’s quite popular among the Chinese students in the area. Good variety of dishes including dim sum, congee, Peking duck, noodle soup, stir fried dishes, etc. everything tasted fresh and delicious!!
Located in the lobby of the Sheraton. Very tasty and authentic food. A little higher priced but it is University City after all. Food came out nice and hot, minutes after ordering, even though they were super busy. Great portions and everyone happily tucked in. I am still partial to the original C-town location but sit down or take out - this place is 2 thumbs up for me !
Update 6/9/2022 - still consistently great food. Had another great get together - "family style" ! Good place for a gathering. 👍
Solid chinese place. The duck with buns was very good and so the vegetables. The soup dumplings were ok, but in spoiled by the quality I am used to in Central NJ.
The place is simple and modern. Service is quick. The other customers were mostly college student.
Sang Kee is one of the best places to eat in the city, hands down. I have tried a majority of their menu items and not a single one of them fails to deliver. The service is absolutely incredible, and everyone who works there is extremely polite. I highly recommend this place to eat.
Stick to the Cantonese offerings on Sangkee’s menu. I came back after years of hiatus. Not that I didn’t enjoy the meals there, just not enough to go out of my way or push off other options to come here. But I recently read a raving review of the Roast Duck Congee. Even at the inflation pumped price, it’s worth every penny. The service is Hong Kong style, attentive but not intrusive. The calming ambience adds charm to the whole dining experience. Now the place is back near the top of my short list for U city visits.

Overall: Our family and friend been here many times , we enjoyed their foods all the time!
We placed an online to-go order, it was quick and painless. Food was flavorful and well made. We ordered chicken fried rice, shrimp & broccoli and chicken & broccoli. We also had a special request and it was honored without any issues. Overall experience was great!
Got some chicken lo mein. Service was pretty great, they seated me right away and I got my food in only a few minutes. It tasted pretty good as well, and the portion size was decent for the price. The only thing is that I was a bit disappointed with the size of the noodles. I feel that lo mein noodles should be a little thicker. While the taste was fine, the mouth feel was very different, like I had a mouthful of tasty string, rather than nice and chewy noodles that you can grab nicely with the chop sticks. Still though, pretty good experience and I will likely come back in the future. If I like some of the other things I try, I will update my rating.
A great place for authentic Hong Kong style food with a twist. No dim sum is served here except for a dim sum platter.
My first time here was a very nice experience. The Dim Sum Assortment platter was a wonderful way to try out 4 different dumplings. The spices in my soup were numbingly good!
