We came here after dinner because we were walking past it and hear jazz music streaming out the open windows. We couldn't resist. No cover! We found a seat at the bar with a direct view of the band and ordered the Time Signature Old Fashioned. The bartender immediately gave us waters and then prepared the drinks. She scorched the orange peel to draw out the flavor, which was pretty classy. We'd only planned to stay for 1 drink, but after the jazz band finished at 9, we saw another band was starting at 10 so we ordered another round and stayed. Well worth it.
Fantastic bar and food. We combined 4 of their appetizers for our dinner for the two of us, and were very happy with the quality of food and drink.
What a great place with delicious foods and live music. I have been several Jazz club/bar/restaurant in the states and this placed served the best foods I've ever had.
Live music was great. They played their own song which was very cool. They let people bring their own instruments and play with them and I loved their performance.
The foods.. wow. The best pork belly dish I've ever had in my life. I am Korean American so I ate tons of pork belly dishes in my life and it was melting in my mouth. Calamari was good but they need to improve their sauce in my opinion.
The waitress provided great service. She was very friendly and helpful on choices of foods & drinks.
Do not miss this awesome this place when you are in Philadelphia. You will not regret to be here.
By the way, they have great price on happy hour. Don't forget to check out the menu and time on their website.
I went for happy hour. There are two separate rooms. One dining room where they play live music and one bar type area that they play movies in. I sat at the bar. I had so much fun. The bartender was amazing and nice and the drink was great. He managed to get me to enjoy a drink with mint in it. CRAZY! But 10/10 and that just may be my regular happy hour spot.
The food is really quite good for what is primarily a bar. The service was not speedy, but the waitstaff are exceptionally attentive. When the jazz trio started setting up, I was nervous that the room would get too loud, but they modulated perfectly and, more importantly, their set was excellent.
Food wasn't stellar but the drinks, ambience, music made the experience for me . Cool cozy intimate location with old charms.
Atmosphere was top notch. Live music was stellar! We were expecting more traditional jazz but the hybrid was fun and the DJ, drummer and sax player killed it. THE FOOD! Outstanding, calamari was def my favorite. Compliments to the chef, service & musicians.
I've been to Time I'm the past for dinner and drinks, and the music never disappoints. This was my first time visiting post pandemic and I stopped in late in the night after dinner. Music was great and the place was packed! Bartenders were busy but quickly got us our drinks which tasted great.
Great vibes! We couldn’t find a spot at the bar on the music side, but ended up having a super fun time watching Baywatch at the bar. For two people from the Midwest, we can vouch that the old fashioned (listed first on the menu) is not to be skipped.
Absolute favorite. Three rooms with bars in each of them: a classy dark-wood lounge, an open-air live jazz venue, and a ratchet upstairs club. Entry is usually $10 cash, I think? Drinks and music are always great. Best in Philadelphia nightlife
