Zama - Philadelphia - Photo album

After living in Japan it’s safe to say I felt the food was delicious and authentic. I have been trying to find authentic Japanese food that reminds me of my time in Japan and this place takes the cake. I loved the service, the decor, and the ambiance. I recommend getting the vegetable and shrimp tem
Stumbled upon Zama randomly exploring near our hotel and it did not disappoint. The spicy lump crab roll may have been the best sushi I’ve ever had. Appetizers to dessert were delicious. I appreciated and atmosphere and service. Definitely recommend.
Dining at Zama sushi in Philadelphia was an experience to remember. Nestled amongst the city's culinary gems, Zama has rightfully earned its place in our top 10 favorite sushi spots. The ambiance of the restaurant sets the tone for an intimate and upscale dining affair. Starting with drinks, the cuc
Great quality Japanese food. All the dishes were incredible, with very fresh sushi. Do not skip the dessert! They are the perfect small sweet bites to end a meal. However, the service took forever. We had to stay for three hours just because it was too slow.
Vegetarian options are limited, but the veggie roll was delicious. We got the mushroom dish and also ordered bao buns separately. It was adequate. The service was very good.
The Penicillin cocktail was a fusion of Japanese whiskey, scotch, honey, ginger, and lemon. The balance of flavors was impeccable, with the smoky notes of the whiskey harmonizing beautifully with the citrusy zing of lemon and ginger, and the soothing sweetness of honey. It was a true palate pleaser.
This place is hands down the best sushi spot in the city, if not my favorite of all time! I absolutely adore sitting at the sushi counter during lunch, it adds a special touch to the experience. My go-to dish here is definitely the seared tuna with truffle oil. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. G
We had the Chef's tasting menu. You get a paper what comes with it, and it was a nice experience. We also ordered the escargot, Brussel sprout and bacon, and the short rib appetizers. The overall experience was great. We also ordered oysters which were good, but I was not a fan of the shot sauce tha
First time at Zama and I would definitely go back. My husband and I did the chefs tasting menu. Price wise it’s totally worth it. Much less expensive than other tasting menus you’d find in the city. Dishes tasted great and were of decent size. We did order 2 other things on the menu so we were a goo
Great sushi restaurant. Service and food were all amazing. Everything was super fresh and the rice texture was on point (the most important thing for me when it comes to sushi). The only downside is the price. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but worth the experience.
