Very delicious pecking duck. The meat is tender and juicy. The skin is crispy. The bun and the pancake is also nice. We also order crispy roast pork which is also delicious. I suggest to eat the crispy roast pork (weekend menu) with rice because the salty taste works better with rice. Overall, it is a good experience. Thank you.

The food was very tasty here. Specially shouting out the chef who made the pork wonton soup and the chicken wings the night we stopped in. Was very good.
You can taste the ginger and all of the robust flavors in each bite. Street parking was available. This restaurant has different takeout and eat in entries available.

Awesome restaurant! Great atmosphere and space. FOOD IS AMAZING!
Came with a group of 7 and got sat immediately!
Service was great, food came out FAST! The duck is amazing, get it!
The best part was the staffs kindness. We were there until 5min before closing finishing our food and they still came and refilled our water. Really appreciate the service and quality of this place!

Our waiters name was Lewis and his service was excellent on time and we didn't have to wait for anything at all. The food was excellent his suggestions were excellent and he made us feel like celebrities. They even threw in a complimentary dessert at the end I would recommend this spot to anybody.

We really enjoyed the wonton soup. The noodles were thin and delicate, so the flavor of the pork and shrimp filling were able to shine. The Peking duck was crispy and tender. You only need a little sauce. The service was great!

peking duck is a must get obviously, everything else (hot and sour soup, green beans, roast pork fried rice) came in large portions and was fresh and delicious. dined in on a tuesday night at around 6 PM and found ample seating.

Except for the roast duck, which has maintained its deliciousness since then, the other dishes are almost just additions to fill the Menu. The noodle and rice dishes are extremely disappointing, the roast duck is the thing that saves everything for this restaurant.
The restaurant's space is relatively spacious, but the bathroom seems to be rarely cleaned, so the smell is quite unpleasant. The waiting area for takeout food is also extremely small.
Another uncomfortable point is that the staff's English level is still limited. Some staff members speak English very well, but most others can only communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese. Although it's understandable because most of the customers coming here are Chinese speakers.

Great Chinese food.
If you are looking to have some Chinese style duck, this is the place to go.
Our table of 3 got half of Peking duck, honey coated BBQ roast pork, beef chow fun, and sauteed Chinese broccoli in ginger wine sauce. All were delicious and highly recommended. We left no food behind and ate it all.
There are decent amount of seats inside but the place can get packed pretty easily. The servers are always there to assist as well and provide recommendations.
Overall, if you feel like having some Chinese food, this is a great place to go and check out.

Peking duck was good but the wraps were not. Fried rice was delicious. Service fast. A bit pricy ($28 for half duck but $15 for a fried rice).

I dined here in March 2023, and thoroughly enjoyed my meal! We (3 adults) ordered the half peking duck with the green beans. The duck was absolutely delicious -- I wish there was more!! However, the green beans were such a delicious surprise; everyone at my table LOVED them!! The service was thoughtful and efficient. Also, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and meal. I highly recommend Sang Kee if you are looking for a delicious meal in Philly!!!

best duck ever =) they have the best duck juice (not the orange sauce but the natural duck juices) and has been my favorite since I was born...no other duck is sweeter or meatier

I haven't had such fabulous Chinese food in decades, maybe ever. My Szechuan beef had layers of flavor, really perfect, and the shrimp-filled steamed dumplings superb. After our amazing lunch, we took dinner-size orders to go for tomorrow's dinner. Someone on here criticized the decor, we found it authentic and the staff polite and attentive. We will regularly drive the two- hours into Philly from the beach just to eat at Sang Kee. Absolutely gourmet at VERY reasonable prices.

Not sure of the word in Chinese for perfection, but think it might be Sang Kee. We ate here years ago, but used to go to Pagoda Noodle House. Last time we were there it was terrible and now supposedly closed, we can see why. Wanting Chinese in Chinatown, we decided to go to Sang Kee. We live in Central NJ, so it's about an hour away.
We sat upstairs and the waiters and busboy were very attentive. We both ordered Shrimp dumpling noodle soup with udon noodles, my wife had vegetables in hers. The soup was just as good, or better than we remember at Pagoda.
Next a whole Peking Duck. Pagoda used to claim they served Sang Kee duck, but this was a whole lot better. Crispy, flavorful and simply delicious. We also ordered subgum noodle with seafood. This too was excellent and the seafood was super fresh.
Sang Kee seems to cater to large parties and all the tables upstairs were full with parties of 6-14, except ours and another near by.
Definitely will be back. Again, the trip for us is over an hour, but the food was worth it. With the duck, our bill was $62 which we thought was reasonable. Bonus, there is a parking lot right across the street, which makes it easy.

Great place to eat in China Town, Philadelphia. The food is out of this world, especially the roast duck and steamed dumplings. Excellent service, people are friendly. Would highly recommend.

Becaus i brought roasted ducks noodles and i got only 2pc ducks with meat and 2 pc only duck fat. I disappointed. I pay $8.70 for this soup. Bad.

Staff are not helpful what so ever. The inside looks like a cafeteria. The duck which they advertise is disgusting. No one comes around to see how you are doing . Bathroom dirty and broken.
Food comes out quick but then that's it you sit And wait till some one comes to see you. In that time you can post and review this nasty place.
You can't order drinks and have to walk up to this weird bar area and pick something because they don't have what's listed on the menu you had to ask fornever again

Excellent service and outstanding food. While all the other places are empty Sang Kee is packed. Their Duck and their Pork is the best I've ever had. Love the wonton noodle soup and the dumplings are like no other!

Even going for 36 years. Never disappointed. And I highly recommend Cheltenham and Wynnewood as well.

Service was good, food was good. I thought the steamed dumplings were kind of thick and doughy but they were still good

Everything we have tried is very good! We love the duck. The staff are very nice. Great place overall!

Peking Duck was juicy..crispy..fragrant..anisey..and sexy. Done perfectly to my taste and it had tender texture.
Always a pleasure dining there with polite and more than attentive wait staff..
