First time here and I have no complains. Food is great, wings are awesome not true Buffalo but good flavor. Shepard’s pie just as good as the reviews say. Drinks are great. Recommend hot apple cider. Atmosphere is great and good place to watch the eagles play.

Great interior with bar and seating options on main level and upstairs. Fireplace is great for winter. Outdoor tables. Excellent beer selection and Guinness variations. Many good food options. Fish and chips was excellent, as was the curry.

We visited on a Monday evening, got a table around 6 right away. Friendly atmosphere and quick service. The food was good not great. Loved the cooked cabbage with our meals. The salmon was delicious but the shrimp were fishy. The pork ribeye meal was good. There was a baseball game on and it felt like a cozy family friendly place to be that early in the evening.

The food and atmosphere are amazing. The bar and dining areas are decorated beautifully for the holidays. I didn’t get to explore the upstairs seating area but it looks like a nice area. The only genuine issue was our server spoke so softly we couldn’t hear him over the music playing.

The best of the Irish pubs on this side of town. Visit on Sundays when they feature traditional Irish music (as long as the Eagles aren't playing). The bar service is excellent. The atmosphere is great for an American style Irish pub. They offer fresh baked traditional bread with your meal and that's just the start of great food. The fish and chips was perfectly battered and crispy. The flavor was great on its own, but add in the house made tartar and you're in for a treat. I highly recommend this place for a pint or a dinner.

I’m going to keep this review short and sweet: Basically I loved it! I definitely recommend this place. The food was super good and the service wasn’t bad. The ambience was nice and it was clean. I ordered the pasta and it’s delicious! Great sauce. Others things I recommend is the calamari, french fries, grilled cheese, shrimp cocktail, and the wings. 2nd time coming here and still not disappointed even after a couple years of not attending. It still lives up to its expectations. Drinks were great, also. Great for kids and great for not with kids. I loved it! I will definitely be coming back. 👍👍

This is a fabulous place to hang out!!! The owner and staff are amazing!!!! The drinks were delicious and the hospitality was the best! Love the decor !!! We took my son there at midnight for his 21st and the bartender, server and owner were so much fun, made him feel special and kept talking to us and making sure we were ok!! Will definitely be back💚💜‼️💞😍

Never heard of a pork ribeye before, but it's some of the best pork I've ever had. So tender you don't need a knife. My lady enjoyed her sourdough grilled cheese very much. But get the pork! I ate all the yellow squash before taking the photo.

Definitely more new experience for me. I really love the atmosphere there - feeling cozy and warm, and the decorations are lovely. I had fish and chips, and my friend had curry and shrimp - both very nice (I tasted a bit of my friend's choice). And I have to say the fish had a large portion. They were probably a bit slow on water because people later flooded in for the world cup. But anyway, I really enjoyed the World Cup at the same time (I'm also a soccer fan but did not aim for watching it today). Last, in particular, I love the fiddling picture and the fire place underneath - look forward to their live music next time (I saw they do have some in holidays evenings).

We stopped in here for lunch one Saturday while walking around town. We each had a beer and split the Chicken & Prosciutto sandwich. The atmosphere was lively, and there was an Irish band playing. We'd happily stop in again if we're in town.

Went on a Saturday night and got a table on the patio. Love the location of this place and great for people watching. Kyle was my server who was prompt and attentive. Excellent recommendation of their wings, which were amazing. I closed out with Kyle and moved inside to the bar. Excellent bartenders ...good conversation and great service. There was a DJ the night I was there and the inside got more crowded as the night progresed, but the atmosphere was amazing. Great place to be for food and drinks where the staff are attentive and take care of their guests. There are a lot of choices in this city and I am partial to Irish Pubs. I would put Plough and Stars high on my list of favorites. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

Great food, great staff, great drinks, reasonable prices. Love the atmosphere always have the fireplace going during the winter ans sundays are great with the irish band that comes in to play. Their brunch on saturdays and sundays is the best! Best eggs benny ive ever had hands down.

It was an amazing experience. Food was excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable on the menu offering suggestions on popular, tasty dishes. I celebrated my birthday and the staff went out of their way to sing happy birthday. I highly recommend this place to any local or traveler looking for a warm friendly atmosphere.

Love this restaurant....great food, everything is fresh, full service bar and the drinks are generous. The service was excellent, as always. We are locals, so not the first time there but if you like an Irish style spot, this is the best! The interior is interesting, looks like it was once a bank....adds to the ambiance.

This is an awesome pub with delicious food and brilliant staff who work very hard as it is constantly busy. The Bar Manager JohnJoe runs an extremely efficient bar service, nobody has to wait long to be served & he makes time to welcome everyone as friends. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here & would recommend that everyone visiting Philly drops into the Plough. You will love it ! 😃🍀😃☘️😃

Food was fab. I had the rack of lamb. I got 5 cops which was unusual as you’re lucky to get 3. Service was great Staff very attentive but not in your face. Caters for all age groups. Would really recommend this pub

Ploughing & the stars is a nice bar and the Cesar salad I had for lunch was good but extremely salty. Salt should be left to the customer to add to their food. The waitress was only ok not people friendly at all.
And my friend being a smoker had no place to put her cigarette as there were no ashtrays outside for this purpose.
