I want to start by saying that our wait staff was fantastic. The meal was delicious but I think some of the offerings were priced too high for the taste. We were a party of about 15 and some of the people ordered stakes ended up being way salty.
The seafood was delicious and most of the sides were perfect as well. Overall, it was a good time, but I don't think I would come back due to it being far too overpriced.
I took my mother here for her birthday (I was visiting from Los Angeles) and it was absolutely delightful. Music was on point. Atmosphere also on point. Our waiter and I’m so sorry I forgot his name (because I’m writing my review so late) absolutely five stars. The best person in the entire establishment I’ll say that!! Pay him more and treat him well♥️
I cannot express how exceptional my experience was with our server, Rene! He went above and beyond to provide the most courteous, enjoyable, and thoughtful service I've ever encountered. His attention to detail and genuine care for our dining experience made the evening truly memorable. I was thoroughly impressed by the business expertise here and the way our needs were anticipated. Rene,our server, made our anniversary special. The attention to details were excellent. Food was great and the atmosphere was perfect for a nice romantic anniversary evening with my wife. I highly recommend if you're in the center city PA. area.
Stephen Cal is a wonderful server. He knows how to be attentive without being overbearing. He was always friendly, arrived at our table at the right time and just made for a wonderful dining experience . The manager, sorry I don’t remember his name, was also friendly and funny. The food was delicious, so hats off to the kitchen! Just a pleasant experience from the hostess stand to the table!
Our second time dining at this restaurant. The meal was superb! We were a party of 4 and each had a different steak entree. I highly recommend them. Perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. Our waiter was professional, courteous and knowledgeable in wines. The soy glazed Brussels Sprouts with bacon was phenomenal (I highly recommend this side). The 2019 La Crema pinot noir was an excellent accompaniment to the steak.

We had a delicious dinner at the Capital Grille. This was the first time we went to a high-end steakhouse in a long time, and I was a little nervous about spending so extravagantly on a single meal. We were not disappointed, though.
It was a Saturday, around 6:30pm, but they gave us a table for two as walk-ins with no wait! We were enjoying a couple soft drinks and assorted breads in less than 3 minutes. Then our server, Bob, walked us through the specials and answered at least 5 questions I had about the menu, all with the patience of a saint and a genuinely friendly demeanor. He also demonstrated a great sense of humor throughout the night, but was very professional when it came down to business. He guided us expertly through the menu, and made perfect suggestions for starters (the best lobster bisque South of Bar Harbor) and dessert (a heavenly brulee-style cheesecake with fresh berries and raspberry sauce). The sides of creamed spinach (perfectly balanced) and soy glazed brussel sprouts with bacon (inspired) could have been an entire meal themselves. It was a long, hot day and we were both looking for something light, so we ordered the pan seared Sea Bass with asparagus, shiitake mushrooms, and miso butter. It was extraordinary and I was so glad I asked them to keep the bread on the table. Otherwise, I might have licked the plate. Not one drop was wasted.
But we really wanted to try one of their cuts and decided to split the 10 oz. filet mignon. This is where we should have listened to Bob and ordered it medium or medium rare, but we went with medium well. We had our reasons that I won't get into here, but suffice to say Bob was absolutely right. So, if the steak looks a little over done in this picture, it was my fault and no one else's. The night was near perfect, and the only thing wrong was that we should have listened to EVERY suggestion that Bob made. By the way, we brought home the sides and finished them with lunch the next day. The aroma alone out us right back at the Capital Grille. Perfect!

I walked in with high expectations and left with nothing less than a smile on my face! I came with a party of three on a Thursday night with no reservation and was seated very promptly by the host. Upon being seated our water was quickly poured and our orders were taken. The bread that came out featured a variety of warm cracker, brown and white bread that could’ve almost been an appetizer itself! My first course was the French Onion soup to which I would only describe as very par; perhaps the Clam Chowder would’ve been a tastier option. After a long time our ordered appetizer of Prosciutto wrapped tomatoes failed to come to the table and we were instead delivered our entrées. My sea bass had an almost comically low amount of asparagus, but nonetheless the sea bass and its accompanying sauce had the same impression of the French Onion soup. Regarding the missing appetizer, this was a major disappointment to our party to say the very least… we alerted the server, Taylor H., of the error and her solution was truly above and beyond! She brought out a chocolate and cheesecake dessert completely on the house and took our appetizer off of the bill. It was a satisfying way to end a seemingly normal evening. That isn’t even to mention how the cheesecake was the best I’ve ever had in my entire life! I truly recommend coming out to this restaurant right in Center City and to request Taylor as she made our evening nothing less than lovely!
Greatest Steak I've had in a while! Service was excellent, and the rest of the food was wonderful.
It was a bit dark and loud inside, but the food was incredible with melt-in-your-mouth tenderloin. Our server, Eric, was fantastic! Quick witted and charismatic. Will be back again!
