Came here for restaurant week with a friend. It was absolutely lovely. Love the vibes inside. The server was a gem, so sweet and friendly. The food was delicious and we actually left full! You get to have 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert per person for restaurant week. Between the 2 of us, we had so much food and tried a variety of different dishes. Everything was so tasty and we left satisfied. One of the best places I've been for restaurant week. Definitely will come back again !

Great Spanish restaurant in a beautiful part of Philadelphia. This place was packed, so we were happy that we had a reservation. The tapas style menu is perfect for a group, with everyone being able to taste everything. The croquettes were out of this world, along with the steak and lamb meatballs. Also, you musttt get the short rib flatbread. They make excellent cocktails and their wine list is extensive. Absolute 5/5 for Amada.

Wow, what a great experience! Went for brunch and got the combo lunch for 2 and it was the perfect combo of all the things we wanted. Stand outs are the shakshuka and the croquettes. The best version of shakshuka I have ever had, Smokey peppers, outstanding sauce and amazing eggs. The bread that came with it was also was amazing. The service was also top notch, explained the menu and how everything works. If you are in Philly this is a must go to restaurant.

Anyone else turn every restaurant into a tapas restaurant? At Amada, they do the work for you… 😉 Amada is the iconic Spanish Tapas spot by Chef Garces. It offers a culinary journey through the rich traditions of Spanish cuisine. This restaurant, which opened its doors in 2005, exudes rustic-chic charm and an inviting atmosphere. Chef Garces’ commitment to tapas-style dining is evident, encouraging guests to explore a multitude of flavors and dishes. Who wants to limit themselves to just one dish when you can savor a variety of Spanish culinary delights?

Went for brunch and had the bread basket, shakshuka, and duck confit. The food was fine, the service was great! We got a basque cheesecake to help celebrate our birthday.

The tapas are the way to go here- in particular I'd recommend the chefs selection which gives you 8-10 dishes for $70. For those unfamiliar with tapas, they are small snack-size plates (except for the salad which was pretty large) meant to share with others. The staff was friendly, the food came out fast and each plate was unique and delicious!

Great tapas place but with a correspondingly high price. Picked out this place based on reviews and proximity to the hotel and was able to make a reservation quickly online. My group was seated quickly and we started scanning through the many options available. I did notice a roast pig item that requires several days notice - and asked our waitress about it. It sounds fantastic and I'll probably return sometime just to try it out. Strangely our waitress wasn't that helpful with descriptions and just steered us toward the "chef's choice" tasting menu. I later overheard her recommending a number of items to the table next to us so not sure what that's about. However we made our own choices and were pretty happy with our selections. I think our favorites were the garlic shrimp followed by the scallops. Our least favorite were probably the green beans. But overall we enjoyed our meal and would recommend this place to anyone that was interested.

Great place for brunch. Came here to celebrate my dads birthday and booked a 12PM a couple days in advance. We were seated and the waiter was very friendly and attentive. There’s a $27 combo option for brunch- you get tapas, entree, and two sides. However we opted for a la carte since we didn’t care for the sides. Also note the brunch cocktails were very cheap, we didn’t try but it was tempting.. The table split a bread basket and the meat and cheese platter. The platter was an amazing spread - jamon, chorizo, mahon, and manchego along with nuts, honies, and olives. The bread basket was cute but I think I could’ve passed on it. I ordered the French toast, which was good but super super rich. I could barely finish half after the meat platter. The rest of the dishes were also pretty rich but appropriately portioned. The waiter sent out an almond brittle ice cream dessert with a candle for my dads birthday. The dessert was a perfect light ending to the meal. Will come back for dinner one of these days.

We had a great date night last weekend. We never had tapas before and it was truly a wonderful experience. We tried the chef’s menu for two and it was fun. The food kept coming. The meals were served fresh and delicious. We got to experience and enjoy a wider selection of the menu than we would normally have. The waitress said it’s a three course meal but be ready for at least 10 plates. We were truly full before the entrees hit the table. We would definitely do it again.

I had an absolutely incredible experience dining at Amada restaurant in Philadelphia. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my meal. The menu was extensive and offered a wide variety of Spanish-inspired options that were all expertly prepared and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the tapas dishes, which were perfect for sharing with friends. The lamb meat balls, was tender and flavorful, while the the brunch menu is well worth the chase. Overall, I cannot recommend Amada restaurant enough. Every aspect of my dining experience was top-notch, and I would give this establishment a well-deserved five-star rating. Bravo!
