Mexico Tipico

I'm from out of town. I saw the restaurant and thought I try it since with the mix reviews I could judge it myself. The, the food and service was slow and there was only 2 tables, coffee was horrible, food was bland looked like they spent more time trying to make it look presentable. I should have taken a picture of my plate . I ordered breakfast I received 4 small pieces of fried potatoes , beans and my breakfast plate was zapped in the microwave to melt the cheese . And my order doesn't come with tortillas. The staff was not pleasant he look like he would rather be at the beach then working at his job . It was only 10:00 am .

Went here on a Friday night around 7:30. They have live karaoke in Spanish. The service was good and the enchiladas were ok. They give you a choice of 5 different types of sauces to put on them and 5 different types of enchiladas as well. The highlight of the night was when I got my lime margarita. The glass it was in was huge. The drink was great as well, perfect blend of alcohol and flavor. I had a nice time there and would certainly go back for the margaritas.

I like their style of flour tortilla. The tortillas here are not too thick and they have a little more manteca than most Mexican food restaurants. I personally do not like thick fluffy flour tortillas. Also, the green sauce they bring out with chips (there is also a red) is exceptional. Be careful, it's spicy!

I'll go off first impression, which is usually not the case. I was driving by and saw the restaurant and it caught my attention, so I stopped and order chilaquiles.... A rather basic dish that most, if not all Mexican restaurants should know how to prepare. The dish was good, the chips were not the typical complementary ones they put are your table, the sauce had some flavor to it, the eggs were cooked as I had requested them, the Asada meatb was seasoned well and the service was also good. I will come back and expect the same or even better experience. (I would only request a more spicy sauce).
