This is a very good Big Boy, and it is at a good location. Many people travel to Petoskey for doctor appointments and stop here for breakfast or lunch. I have been to this location a few times. I have always had fast and friendly service. The salad bar that I had an lunch times was very good, with many options. They have many toppings to use on a salad, and also they have at least four different soups to try. Another time I had the tomato basil soup and that was very good as well.

I would like to know where the management was while the wait staff and kitchen staff were getting the snot slapped outta them on a fine Labor day? I used to work in restaurants, and I loved it when they cut our hours, kept us at BARELY minimum wage, demanded we worked holidays while they were at home having a cookout. And they wonder why corporate America is loathed so much. Enjoy your boat ride!!

My mom and I ate dinner here. We didn't know they closed in 10 minutes until we walked in the door. We were going to leave and go somewhere else. I don't like staying when they are going to close soon, it's rude. They were very friendly and insisted repeatedly that it was okay if we stayed and ate. Food was good, the shake was even better 🍔🍦

We went for the breakfast buffet. Its $12.99 per person and kids under 12 eat free. They had very good waffles and the biscuits and gravy were pretty good. Bacon and sausage were average. Tough to say about anything else due to the fact we got there at 130 and the buffet ends at 2 so some stuff wasn't as fresh as other things. Overall clean restaurant, pretty small and theres no jungle to play games and putt putt anymore which is why I'm knocking this particular big boy down a star... sad sad sad. I would come here once a week to eat if the brought the jungle back! Instead its once a year maybe...
I do love the free buffet for kids under 12 tho, nothing beats free!

Great food, fun atmosphere, and kind staff. Multi-grain berry hot cakes were delicious! Very busy on Sunday mornings, though so if you don't like crowds try and go on a weekday.

Was in the area for vacation. Excellent food. Both my mom and I had excellent dinners and desserts. The best we've had at any big boy. The service was great and the manager was very friendly. We wish this big boy was in our hometown.

If you go to this restaurant ask for Pam or Amber to be your servers. They will make sure that your dining experience is the best that you ever had. The two ladies are absolutely wonderful and super friendly and take all of your needs into consideration.. The breakfast buffet is to die for. Has everything that you could imagine you would want for breakfast.

My family went in for a late dinner. The food was good and met expectations. However, they got bonus points with us for service! My son has a number of food allergies; and as soon as our waitress knew it was a concern she went and got their reference book. After a few minutes looking things up, the manager came over and confirmed info on the items we were still looking for. It was wonderful to have our concerns addressed with such consideration!

Came right in and was seated. Waitress came in and took our order in a couple minutes. Food was delivered in a timely manner in spite of how busy they were, and the hostess and waitress were very friendly. Food was good and coffee cup was always full.
