Really fresh tasting sushi. This isn't really the area you think you'd get good sushi, but it was excellent. And it's a great place to take that group with the one person who just HATES sushi; they offer pretty traditional Chinese Food choices. For everyone complaining about the price, clearly they have never been to a TOURIST TOWN before... I'm not from this area, but the prices weren't that much different from my local place. I will definitely return.
I seriously think this place is one of the best places in Michigan, I've been going for years and take my family. I've never had anything bad.
Been here twice since I've camped over the long weekend! Friendly staff and some of the best sushi! I tried the Godzilla roll, Sunny roll and my favorite California roll. Got in fast and easy. I cant wait to bring friends back to try it!
The best sushi I've had!!! I loved it. I went here with my friend and we had sushi and the ice cream tempura. It's was delicious!! 😌💜
I love the many different sushi rolls! The banana roll is so unique. They are all very fresh. Many vegetarian options. Delicious! Always presented very delicately.
The wife and I have been traveling all over the mitten in the last month, and we have been on a bit of a sushi kick. After having eaten at several highly reviewed establishments I must say we were both pleasantly surprised to find this quality of food and variety of roll options available at Nagoya. The service was very friendly and we found everything to be very clean. Our first visit but definitely not our last.
Best Sushi in the North. Been here before. Came back for more. Normally I shy away from Sushi when not in the big city or the coasts but they do a really nice job here. Get their Nagoya King roll (and whatever else you want). It's great.
Get the Sushi. We have found the Chinese to vary in the past from good to passable. The Sushi is their niche. Stay with that.
A good option for sushi or Chinese dishes. The fact they serve both is a great service as I know while I enjoy a few pieces of sushi for lunch or dinner my parents do not. This means we can still dine together and get what we would like for dinner. They do a great job with both menus and are a good lunch or dinner option.
The sushi here is amazing. I have not tried the non-sushi menu, but I come here for one thing and one thing only. Sushi. The only reason I can't give a 5/5 is price. While not quite as good, I can get 3 - 4 times as much sushi down in TC at panda north for roughly the same price. Other than that, it is my favorite!
My favorite restaurant in northern Michigan for sure. The food is definetely a bit pricy, but I think it's worth it I can't go there with out getting sushi. Gratuity is included on your bill (I can only assume that is because the servers can be a unfriendly at times), but honestly it doesn't matter to me because the food is worth it.

The banana sushi roll they have is my favorite and the best roll I've ever had!can't remember the name of it,but it's warm and the hint of sweetness of the banana makes it the perfect combination.love this place.wish it wasn't so far from me,but I make special trips to Petoskey just to get me some sushi🍣 from here!
Alright, so this place is pretty legit. Bunch of want to be kwai kwai whiners on here that the sushi isn't exactly Japanese 100 percent but they think anime is awesome so who cares, really. Sushi was plated very well and lots of flavor. The Chinese cuisine isn't just your protein, tons of broccoli, and a few other vegetables, but the vegetable selection is diverse and cooked to perfection. The wait staff is amazing. I must have got 10 coffee refills in the entire time I was there. Every 10 minutes, bam, wait staff with fresh hot coffee. That's how you serve. Servers everywhere take notice. Clean restaurant, clean utensils and dishes, scrumptious meal! For the price, you really can't beat it. All these people who scored this place bad are palate-less. Seriously, check this place out and enjoy all they've got to offer! I'll be going back at least once a week now, for sure! 5 stars for you, Nagoya!
