Always Tasty, and Super Delicious. My wife and I have been going here for 10 years, and it has always been a favorite. 😀 If you are in Petoskey, stop in and try it for yourself. We now live almost 2 hrs away, and it's worth the drive.
Authentic Mexican food at a family owned and operated restaurant. The tacos were delicious and the meal size was perfect for lunch (may be a little small for dinner). Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful

Only got rice and beans, but both were very good. It's kinda how I rate. I start with the basics rice, beans, and salsa/chips. If they are not good, I don't bother with the rest. Joses Authentic Mexican is just that. Both authentic and Mexican. Jose could not be more attentive or caring. Had the salad for lunch that was fantastic. Instead of bland iceberg lettuce, the salad had a variety of greens to boost flavor and nutritional value. The pico de gallo tasted great and chip
Food wasn't bad but not impressed. The prices are great for kids however the adult food feels over priced.
The beef taco is super small. You may need a few to feed your kids.
The quesadillas are a decent size for kids and use mozeralla cheese.
The fajitas are mostly meat. Most would love that
I'm assuming the owners are the two people who took our order, made the food, etc. Nicest people ever! Food was pretty good, too. We dined in. They took the order at the counter, then directed us to grab a table, and then they brought our food to us. Once done, you go back to the counter to pay. Eve

Best Tacos I have had in Michigan. No joke. This place may be casual but it is having out some awesome food with amazing service. I had the tacos plate with shrimo, barbacoa, and chorizo. Holy cow. Dying. You gotta come here! The service was amazing and I even got to practice my Spanish.
Everything is wonderful. The owners, the food is just outstanding. Whenever I am in town, it's a must! I always leave happy.

The homemade tamales and chile rellanos were amazing!!!!! Amazing, fresh, authentic mexican food. The owner and staff were super sweet also! Good drink selections !
I am absolutely in love with this place it's nothing to crazy really a relaxing feel to the place. As the workers are speaking Spanish well in the kitchen. You slipped into a nice relaxing state of waiting for food.
It often makes me feel like you may be right in ol uncle Jose's kitchen!
