The 1911 Restaurant never disappoints! The meals are well planned and perfectly executed. All of the flavors and ingredients are unique and fresh. I work in aviation and have had the privilege of eating at restaurants all over the world, and the 1911 Restaurant is truly one of the best culinary experiences I’ve ever had.

1911 Restaurant. A charming dinning room and front porch, al fresco, dinning. Nice menu selections. You can order by course or choose a set fee for a 3 course meal. We loved our dining experience.

What a quaint place. We celebrated our parent's 25th anniversary and this was a perfect place for it. The atmosphere is charming and the views from the deck are fantastic. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. We had the wagyu steak, which was cooked perfectly, the pork chops, and the kid's BLT. I recommend getting the three-course meal. It is worth it. They even allowed us to bring a cake to celebrate and cut and served it to us. I would recommend this place to anyone. I would say parking can be tricky, but it is manageable.

Very delicious food in a lovely atmosphere. We had fantastic cocktails to start - try the Old Fashioned if you’re a bourbon fan - and then enjoyed a terrific meal. The fish was the stand out entree, it was perfectly prepared. The dining room was tastefully decorated for the holidays, and there was wonderful live music being performed. It was a great experience.

When we arrived at the Terrace Inn we were excited to see the beautiful choices on the menus. We decided right then that we were going for the Kobe beef dinner offering for our dinner. It was more delicious then what we were dreaming of all day. Eating in the dining room was very special, a real 5 star experience. It was a beautiful room, there was an opportunity to dine on the Terrace, but we chose the indoor option. All the food was super and we were served by well trained personnel that were very friendly and described the servings well as we decided what we would have. The meal was brought to us at a perfect pace to enjoy our food. If in that area again, even if I wasn't staying overnight I would hope to eat in this very special dining room. It is in whole a peaceful, and quaint experience.

Super cute and friendly restaurant. Food arrived quickly and hot. Pizza was gluten free, which is rare in rural towns in Michigan. Fresh veggies were used, tasty crust. Enough to take home and eat the next day.
Friendly waitress was very attentive. We were grateful to find a restaurant that could cater to all of our needs.

Fantastic food! We ordered the prix fixe three course menu. Started with two delicious salads. I had the pork chop. Very moist and tender, and the spicing was perfect—delicious flavor, but didn’t overwhelm the meat. And the server recommended a great wine to go with it. Would definitely go back!

We have been staying at the Terrace Inn and eating at the 1911 Restaurant for years ... spending holidays, anniversaries etc. We have been pleasantly delighted with the menu at 1911. My wife loves the planked white fish and I really enjoy the breast of duck which I order anytime it is on the menu. Also the salads are great and the servers are really efficient and friendly. We try to go there anytime we have the opportunity. Try it ... you'll like it!
