Taps

Ceviche was good but needs more shrimp. The wings are awesome but wings I have had outside of a wing type restaurant. I had the extra hot and would go to highest level hot. I had it as a side and both very flavorful and good amount of heat. The burger was OK as the cheese sauce for the pretzel was OK also. The wings were the highlight.

Taps is a good beer hall with gastropub food. The apps [for me]are the go-to with a beer. The wings and hot sauce stage 3 are spicy with some heat, and the cauliflower option is great for those on the vege side. The burgers and sandos are tasty and filling if that is what you are wanting. The gem is the covered deck over the river. With Taps being so close to downtown Petaluma, it is great for a end stop in a P-town crawl.

if i have the time, I'll come back. definitely another visit next NASCAR season. the Seedless watermelon and dragon fruit beer was refreshing. enough hints of flavor and I'd put it on my summer list of beers. the buffalo cauliflower was surprisingly tasty, crispy, and flavourful with and without the buffalo sauce (which was stage 1, so i can imagine what the hotter stages were like). Their chicken wings were very crispy and just as delish with and without the buffalo sauce too. the nachos were filling, although wild have preferred a thinner and crispier tortilla chip. TLDR; food was good the beer was great and the service was excellent. Morgan gave meaningful advice on the selection.
