Village Pub

The food at this pub is far from ordinary! I was particularly impressed by the amazing brisket sandwich and the wide selection of draft beers. The staff were welcoming, and I had the pleasure of meeting the new owner, Joe, who was extremely friendly. Service was swift, and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was very inviting. It's great to have a place like this in Perry!

My husband and I found The Village Pub by googling restaurants near me. Boy were we lucky! The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. We had the egg roll of the month which I think was named Honey and Hog. As my husband said, had every form of pork known to man and cheese. I had Bang Bang shrimp and crispy Brussel sprouts.The egg roll and shrimp were listed as Shareables which I thought meant appetizers. I often order appetizers as a meal. Be aware: the Shareables are huge servings! I had bang bang shrimp at another place last week and I received triple the number at the pub for the same price. Our waitress was fast, efficient and personable. Best food I've ever had while traveling along Lake Erie.

We stopped by for dinner and a drink. I had a draft and my wife chose the Jamaican Me Crazy. Both were excellent. For an appetizer, the fried brussel sprouts were brisket and tasty with a nice balsamic drizzle. For the main, we shared the 5 alarm burger special with tater tots. It was nice to get a hot and spicy burger that lives up to the name. There must have been 40 toys on the plate and they were crispy, just the way we like them. You should stop and try this place. We are local and come back again and again.
