Del Taco

EDIT 6/15/22: I love del taco and have been to numerous ones (including the "first" del taco, which is the best if you ever get a chance to go!). As other's have mentioned, it's very hit or miss here. Unfortunately, for me, it's usually a miss. I've worked in the area for about 5 years and usually go to the one off of Perris, but this one is closer and thus sometimes I get stuck going to this location. For some reason the food at this one always has my stomach hurting after. I don't know if they use more salt in their food or something than other locations. Also, it's always hit or miss with the quality/ quantity of food. i'll take my food to go and get home and realize they went really small with my burritos or hardly any meat. This was from my last trip for a grilled chicken burrito that was around $4. This happens maybe 3/4 times, way more frequent that it should be. Same thing happened when I got the regular del taco's with hardly any meat on them. I can get any items, and it's mostly tortilla or taco shell or empty. They also never give you a receipt at the drive-in, which makes it hard to know who helped, who to call, or who to complain to, etc. I'm not even sure who gives them good reviews, because like I said, I love Del Taco and go a lot, but this one never seems to perform well very often.

I was there yesterday 4/10/22 my nephew ordered Carne Asada fries. Looks like he got guacamole fries instead, we weren't given any utensils offered or given any sauce or napkins. Had to stop at Jack in the box to ask for napkins. I understand everyone is short staffed right now but some things you should not have to ask for such as napkins and utensils.

Worst service. I figured the long wait was because they're short staffed. Untill I payed at the counter. I payed for the wrong order. So they handed me the wrong order. Then I had to pay more. Which they said they couldn't void the other transaction. So I was to pay the difference. Seems fair untill they handed me the same wrong order 🤦‍♀️. Then they handed me my order. Which we realized half way home our fries were missing. Tried to call store no answer. Then soon realized they never handed me a receipt. Or the other order had it. Idk at this point. Red flag the person on the intercom placing order seemed to rush . Like not a customer service bone in her body. But the boys mixing up orders was the cherry on the cake.

From personal experience it’s a hit or miss, sometimes it’s really good that you come back but then it can be complete dog S**t. Same goes for the costumer service and times they’re friendly and kind and other times they can be rude and obnoxious trust me I work in the food industry too it’s not easy but giving people attitude is not gonna help even if a Costumer is being rude or nasty just “kill them with kindness” I know it’s easier being said then done.

Ordered thru the app. Got to the drive thru and they say they dont have my order. They say that I need to contact the main app people to get my refund. This is the first time that a del taco claims my order did not come in. Horrible service. They didnt even try to check it again after 10 minutes of waiting.
