Los Jalapenos Taquria

I was pleasantly surprised. Having had an 'okay' experience at the one in Wadena, I was not in a hurry to eat here. I brought my mom in, who is handicapped (uses a walker). We'd forgotten how difficult it is for her to get into the building. Also, the handicap parking spots were filled with the piles of snow. Onto the food - it was excellent! Generous portions for the lunch menu and so delicious. The staff was attentive and the music blaring from the kitchen added to the ambiance. We'll be back to try something else soon!

The food is good. But 4 times in a row I've had to request beans that are listed in the menu as part of the dinner entré that is to be served. Plus I've been charged as an extra. Not much to pick from in terms of a Mexican restaurant. Will be looking for somewhere else if this something that I have to go through every time.

My Wife and I have eaten here twice now. We order the “fajitas for two.” If you want fresh food, with excellent service, and fair prices. This is it. I appreciate the cleanliness of the restaurant more than anything. This is the only place besides Lakes Cafe that I would spend money to eat at in Perham. Ignore all negative and mean reviews, take my word for it, LOS JALAPEÑOS is the spot to eat in Perham!

Los Jalapeños Mexican restaurant in Perham, I have to say, honestly, is the WORST Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten in.The first time was ok, mediocre at best, but it went gradually downhill from there. I felt sick after I ate there. My wife vomited. I saw on the menu the "seafood" burrito is made from fake crabmeat. This place is really bad. It definitely is not Mexican. When you order a "steak" you expect a STEAK, not steak tips!!! I will not eat there anymore. This is what you get when cartels launder money!!!!

Was very good, friendly, and prices were about what they are elsewhere for pretty big portions (I'm stuffed!). Service was extremely fast, I was actually really surprised when it came out in a matter of minutes. I wish it was closer to home because I'd go all the time! Was very confused by how this place could ever get 2 star reviews.
