Lone Spur

Only been once... But amazing breakfast... Probably best I have had in the valley. Great service, and a little high for the price, but worth it. I was with a party of 4, we all ordered something different and shared bites as it was all of our first times... Streak, eggs, biscuits, gravy, chicken fried steak... Was literally all delicious.

My wife and I were looking for someplace different for breakfast and just happened to see the sign at the freeway exit for Lone Spur Cafe. Glad we stopped in. The food was excellent, the portions were huge, the staff was super friendly and attentive. The place had the feel of a family owned restaurant and everybody there made their customers feel genuinely welcome. My wife and I plan on returning often as there are more dishes we want to try (the cowboy benedict is a definite winner).

Great little diner with large dining area. What I like about this place is most things on the menu you can get cowboy sized or regular size dishes. It wouldnt be Texas flare without the cowboy size. I cant be over critical about this place as I ordered food 15 minutes before they closed. I had apologized to my waitress once I realized they closed at 2:30pm and she was happy to serve me. My glass stayed full, staff was friendly, diner was clean, and the food tasted great. I need to come back at an earlier time to give this place a fair review.

Went when first opened, great fresh tasting food. My husband loves the Chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy with eggs and hash browns I have always had the veggie omelette, unfortunately it's not the same, last visit it was lukewarm ,my hash browns were burned Before this last visit, we both ordered the Chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. We waited 45 min and walked out. Apparently they had different cooks I really do like this place, two bad experiences for all the many times we have been won't stop me from trying it again.

First time at this location. Food was good, hearty portions. Only had to wait ten minutes to be seated. We were told that they were short cooks, only had two on duty. I appreciated being told that. The only thing was the wait staff seemed flustered. Got my side of bacon before my meal and the waitress forgot we had a side of biscuit and gravy that came with our meal. I would eat there again.
