Thank you J's Bakery and Cafe for our amazing monster trucks birthday cake and cupcakes! They were absolutely delicious! Thank you for making the cake look so spectacular considering that we could not have cocoa / chocolate on it - you still managed to make it look like the trucks were driving over real dirt and everybody asked who made the cake!
Love the delicate cake texture of the petit fours! The glaze seems to be a bit thicker than it used to be (I prefer very light glaze) but these are a staple of our visits to Florida.
Amazing Amazing Amazing! I called Shanelle at J's Bakery with a specialty cake order. Nothing too much, but requested some special decorating on top that I knew I couldn't get at just any bakery. When I picked up the cake and my daughter saw it she was so excited and over the moon with it. It was a huge hit at our party, the look and taste. The cake was just the right moisture, not dry at all. I've used Shanelle for years and will never go anywhere else as long as she is able!

Went to J's bakery last night, I hadn't been in in a while, but that delicious smell was exactly the same. I ordered the wedding cake cookies and a few of their sandwich cookies. They were both so good! The wedding cake cookies are my favorite, with the light powdered sugar and melt in your mouth texture, broken only by the delightful crunch of pecans. I never buy enough of them! The sandwich cookies are also a super shot of sugar and the kids loved them. This shop is full of nostalgia, but reality, in this case is, is better than nostalgia.
If you're in the area please do yourself the favor of checking out this local landmark bakery! You won't be disappointed.
My parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary and J's helped make the day extra special with a gorgeous and delicious cake. Shanell thank you for all the time and attention you put into making the cake so beautiful!!
Amazing King Cakes! We got a cream cheese and a plain and the cream cheese is amazing. I expect the plain is also great, but we’re saving that one for later. They also have a variety of other sweets. Their donuts look pretty good, so I’ll try them next time.
J’s is a local STAPLE! Have been going here since I was a kid. Had a cake made for my moms 70th birthday and WOWWW!! Still can’t get over how incredible it turned out. We got so many comments and compliments on the cake. And the signature buttercream flowers looked so real! Have already booked them for another cake!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! And if you stop in be sure to grab a smiley face cookie!
I’m stationed in Alaska but came down to visit family and placed an order for custom birthday cakes for my sons birthday we were going to celebrate in Pensacola. The ordering process was so easy over the phone and everyone was so nice. I picked up my order and was blown away by the work they had done. It was perfect, just how I imagined it in my head when I ordered. I’m so grateful to them for making the most memorable part of my sons first birthday absolutely perfect. Highly recommend them! (The taste is amazing as well ;)
