You can’t beat the price and service. I had the jalapeño burger minus the salsa, I had every intention to eat half of it and take the rest home for lunch the next day. I even cut it in half but I couldn’t stop myself…I ate the whole thing! Best burger and wait staff was super sweet, called me sugar, baby and darling…I overheard an older couple being welcomed by their first name as a regular who hadn’t been there in a while. Just made my soul warm and loved to hear staff so warm and welcoming and friendly. Heck, I think if I was having a bad day I’d leave lifted up. Oh, and the strawberry shake was amazing! Don’t food shame me, yes- I finished that too on my ride home! Cheaper than a fast food chain but more delicious and best service in town! If you’re looking for cheap but good eats, this is your place!
Food and service was excellent. Finally get to try out steak and shake and was very impressed. My go to now for burgers and fries and shakes! Thanks to the staffs for being amazing and thanks to the drive thru girl. Keep on smiling!

We visited after watching the Taylor Swift Eras Tour movie nearby. As my friend and I entered, they kindly let us know they were 30 minutes from closing. They gave us the option to sit and eat in or get our food to go. My friend has never had Steak N Shake, so she wanted to eat in. They still sat us. Our server, Hunter, had the best attitude about it. He was funny, fast to fill our order, and made sure we had everything we needed. He never made us feel rushed or unwelcome even though we were there right before they closed. My friend and I made sure to leave him a great tip for his customer service, and he made my friend's first visit to Steak N Shake memorable.
I had the garlic double burger. It was fresh and very delicious. I loved the garlic and herb butter they put on the top of the bun. My friend tried the royal burger and a strawberry shake. She let me try her shake, and it had a very good flavor. Some milkshake places don't have very good strawberry shakes, but this Steak N Shake did. I'm glad we ate here and we will be returning next time we are in Pensacola.

Their food is generally better/fresher inside than the drive thru-and great service! The burgers are smashed. The fries are tiny delicate shoestring, with the perfect level of salt. Their shakes are handmade, rich, and delicious!
One of the best burger diners i have ever been too. Best shakes and tasting burgers I've had from a fast food joint. Very friendly staff and I love the diner look too it. Just a tad bit dirty and getting old, might need a revamp for the interior.
Upon entering we were greeted and seated immediately. Tanecia our waitress greeted us and got our drink order quickly. I decided on the sausage and egg breakfast tacos and my friend ordered the sausage breakfast scramble with hash browns and bagel...(choice is toast or pancakes or bagel.) Food tasted pretty tasty and brought out very quickly. Our waitress very attentive but not too, so that we were able to have a conversation, enjoy our meal and not be interrupted every 5 minutes. Great job!!
Had a pretty good lunch at the Stake and Shake. The only thing that I have to say about my Garlic Burger is there is no way to eat it without your hands, face, and mouth getting greasy. I had to use fork and knife because I ran out of napkins. Very good Burger.
First time here, very impressed. Didn't go inside(lazy me). Got #5 garlic butter burger. Wished I had gotten a shake, but always a next time when first time service is good. May be if I come round 11:13am again I can get the same prompt service.
This is such an amazing little diner 😊 I can’t believe I’ve never tried one of these before 🤷🏻♀️ My daughter always told me about it when she would travel they have them at air ports 😉 Okay so they have kinda of a way back feel type diner , super friendly servers ( ours was Cheryl extremely friendly attentive ) & staff ❤️ The food is really good & the shakes are excellent we took some to go for the road 😊 Y’all won’t believe the prices 🤗🤗 And into todays world every little bit counts ☺️ I highly recommend this establishment 🙏 Again super friendly staff ❤️
