Decided to stop in for the first time because we wanted to sit out and enjoy the weather with their beautiful patio. We ordered the Philly egg rolls for an appetizer and they were cooked perfectly, nice and crispy on the outside but juicy and flavorful on the inside. We got the fried dough BLT and it was a perfect meal for a quick easy lunch. We also got the fried chicken sandwich and you can see in the photo how amazing it was! To finish we wanted a carrot cake but they were out unfortunately but the server brought this like caramel bread pudding with ice cream on top and it was better than we were expecting! Overall a great experience, everybody was friendly and attentive and we will definitely be coming back!
What a great place! The food and service were awesome! No matter what you picked on the menu, it was great. We had a party of 22, and everyone was surprised at how good the food was and presented on the plate. The waiter was very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Stopped by twice. First time was for Lonestars birthday. We went back for the Monday special. Both times the service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a drink in the bar and the bar staff were very helpful and friendly. The resturant was very clean and the restrooms were clean. We will definitely return when we are back in the area.
Yes It's that good. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I decided on the "Mrs" Ruben sandwich, and my date had the prime rib sandwich. Both were full of meat and equally delicious 😋 the house potato salad is made w red potatoes and was just wonderful. The fries are freshly homemade and delicious. Autumn, our server made sure our first visit was great 👍. Then we finished out the night at the bar, listening to a great band. Can't wait to go back. Great food, views, service, drinks; the whole shabang!
I had the Philly cheese steak quesadilla. It's not on the menu, but was in the special. It was amazing! The flavor was unbelievable! And the Chili was delicious!! Definitely a good place to eat!!
The wife and I went for lunch on a Sunday and while there was a wait for an outdoor seat there was no waiting for a seat inside.
Our waitress was very friendly and knew the menu well.
We started with the fried cheese curds which came with aside of marinara . It arrived hot and was really tasty cheesy goodness.
The wife ordered the beef pasties and sautéed squash. The pasties were very flavorful and the squash was great , not over cooked with herbs and a little butter, nice meal.
I ordered the fish and chips which were really good, fish was not greasy and with some malt vinegar it really hit the spot. Their chips are really unique cut thin on one side and get thicker, great scoops for the tartar sauce, if you’re into that. Overall a really good experience. We’ll come back and see if we can get an outside seat for the view of the bay.
We had a nice late lunch at Culvert's. We didn't sit outside because it was pretty hot. I went with an order of wings and a beverage. The wife went with a Caesar salad.
The food was good. Our server did a good job. And it wasn't outrageously expensive either. Just a nice place for a meal.
Loved the pretzel and must have beer cheese! Shelby was awesome for our big birthday party! The fish and chips were really good too!
Overall a good experience! We order Togo fish and chips. They made sure to set us up with all the ketchup, malt vinegar, lemon, and Tatar sauce. The service was great. The fish was pretty good, I won’t say it’s the best fish I’ve had, but pretty good. The chips are outstanding just between chips and fries, so it has a good flavor and texture. I would return definitely.
Went to Claverts at the Heights for the first time in their new place. Reservations were at 6, arrived a little bit early. We did have to wait a few minutes because they were out of menus.. Our seat was by the window which has a beautiful view of the bay. The first thing I noticed were the amount of flies by the window. I know there is outside seating and maybe going in and out brings in the flies but I was immediately turned off.
The 1st jalapeño margarita was very good (the 2nd one not so much, but drinkable). We had the tuna dip as an appetizer- it was ok. I had the crab stuffed grouper with fried green tomato and a side of sweet potatoes. It was very delicious. Husband had the filet, it was very well seasoned and tender to his liking. Overall both our meals were very good. Loved the view and the service was ok…
