This is another hidden gem in Pensacola. Happened to find it on Google and I'm so glad I did. Didn't even realize that I had driven past it so many times. Very aesthetically pleasing dining area. Love the self serve design. Most of all, the food was delicious!! A must try 😁
Update: Yep, this place is still amazing

This place was awesome!!! The food was tasty! The chicken and Waffles 🧇 were great and the waffles with fruit was delicious!! It is a must try as there are other great items on their menu.

4-23-2023: first time here. Walked in and a little confused; first thing you see is the menu on the wall with directions to decide your order; place order and pay at the cashier post. They give you a display number to take to your tables. About 70-80 places total to sit. Booths, tables, and a small bar. Mental and plastic flat wear with fountain machine. I was expecting some type of regular cafe style food. I was overly surprised when the food arrived. Don’t let the casual atmosphere lead you; this place is cranking out some very delicious and excellent food. It is a hidden gem! Check out the pics. Food is great portions, excellent flavor, and reasonable prices. The staff are beautiful people and very diverse. I met and talked with a guy named John. He a #1 in my book! Great talking with him. If you want an excellent breakfast- here is your place. It does take a few minutes to get your food but it ain’t a drive thru folks. Truly worth it and I’ll be back again and again 🙏👆❤️👍

This was our second time coming to Egg Wits and they have yet to disappoint with the food. It’s fresh and very flavorful. It come out hot and fairly quickly. There are a few gripes that sort of set me uneasy. First is there silverware setup. It’s a help yourself kinda set up. You get your own forks and spoons, so you don’t know who put their boogie or dookie fingers all over them. Second isn’t bad but the benches are not very comfortable and some are broken.

Firstly, first time I've done a self serve restaurant. And that experience was just okay. The food was delicious and flavorful( I had cinnamon and powdered sugar Belgium, and a bacon omelet)
My only true complaint is there is so much food, and coffee is regular diner coffee
p.s Gouda in grits is a great idea

A self serve breakfast restaurant. Order and pay at the counter and your food is brought to you. You get your drink, condiments and cutlery on your own after you've placed your order. The food that I tried was good. You can run up quite the bill pretty quickly. There is a lot to try. The restaurant was clean. The omlete I got looked fantastic. I would come back and try other things. Worth a visit and comes without the fuss of a full service restaurant.

Quiet place, food was fresh, and served fast. No servers, so you order/pay, and wait for them to bring it out. Baskets and gravy have too much pepper and salty. Biscuits taste pre-packaged. Breakfast skillet was nice size and very good. Coffee was good, just very hot in paper cups.

There's plenty of parking. When we arrived, the parking lot looked full but seating was available. This is an order at the counter, food brought to the table type of place. The food was good and satisfying.
For those concerned with COVID precautions: it was easy to keep space but none of the staff members were wearing masks at all.

I have been to this fine establishment on two occasions, both times for brunch with girlfriends.
Service: this is a self serve place once you order your meal. You get your own drinks and cutlery. The staff brings out your food and will also clear your table if you stay so long as we are prone to do! We sat in a booth for 3 hours! We were not urged to leave! Rather we were checked on a few times and left to chat!
Meals: Oh how much yummm! I had the “French Kiss” both times which is their special French toast w/ fresh whipped cream with strawberries and blueberries and two strips of bacon. Perfect! The second visit I added Gouda grits because why not! They too were wonderfully made! And enjoyed by the table as it was a huge portion.
Value: This was fresh food artfully plated. It was quality. Fresh food cost a little more and is worth it!
Staff: Eggcellant! They all seemed to be happy at their jobs and kept the dining room looking sharp for the new people that just kept coming! Enjoy the low toned beautiful Christian music also! Had our Gal Joy humming and singing along!
Overall! We give them a very well deserved 5 stars! Keep up the good work Egg Whits!
Ps: to the JO of gave these people 1 star? Stay home. They don’t need you, we will be there to sing their praises.

Looking for nice Breakfast near Pensacola airport. Glad we found this place. Food was amazing, much better than typical Denny’s or IHOP. Ingredients are fresh and presentation is well done. Friendly Service. Reasonable price. Definitely a breakfast/brunch spot if you’re ever in Pensacola.
