Captain D's

Pell City, Al (Captain D's) has always been a family favorite. We use drive thru mostly and never been disappointed. Always hot and delicious. In fact we have D's attack for their fish, shrimp, oysters and all the other options we have tried. Thank you Cap D's. Always a pleasure having dinner with you.

I am very dissatisfied with this particular location. Every time I come here something happens. This time I pulled up at the drive thru around 10:33 pm — granted I know they close at 11 — I sat there for a minute, I said hello. Nothing. So I called & told them I had been sitting in the drive thru & nobody has came to take my order. After we hung up, I was placing my order & asked for a baked potato.. we can’t make baked potatoes because we are about to close…… it takes 20 minutes to make one? Okay, that’s fine. Can I have a large sweet tea.. we do not have any sweet tea……. So I said just never mind on the entire order & drove off. I get being ready to go home.. but seriously. You work for the public. I don’t nag about things like this, just rubs me the wrong way when it’s a continuous problem every time I come here.

I came to this restaurant this evening and I ordered the seafood platter and I ordered the fish and shrimp for $5.99. I wanted a baked potato and coleslaw as my sides with the $5:99 dinner with no drink that was a part of the meal. The employee told me I only get one side. I went back around the building after I got my two dinners and took a picture of this dinner that is on the board. I truly think this picture of this meal is misleading. After I got home with these two dinners and opened them, the $5.99 meal had a bake potato, two hush puppies and a small piece of fish. There was no shrimp. I will not be back to this restaurant.

Met my husband, son, and mother-in-law here for supper. Food was great. However, the reason for only 2 stars was because all the workers had their masks on only over their mouths; their noses were still exposed. If you're vaccinated I understand if you're not going to wear a mask, but if you are then PLEASE cover both your mouth AND nose! Very shorthanded also

Capt. D's Pell City is decent. Had no issues with the meal I chose. Service was fast and courteous. The parking area is easy and convenient. Store seemed clean as did the restrooms. All employees were wearing masks (in case that's important to you). No, I have no negative opinions concerning this establishment.
