Pelican Pizza is a small town eatery with a big city menu. Prices are very reasonable for all their foods. When I have called in an order, I have had nothing but courteous and polite workers take my order. Sometimes it has taken a bit longer to get my pizzas and/or chicken but if they are busy, that tells me that many folks enjoy their excellent foods. When I have dined in, the staff is always pleasant and greets you with a smile. As for the food, the pizzas are fantastic!! The sauce is a bit different than the cookie cutter pizza places and it is SOOO good. The Taco Piega is one of my favorites. Of course the broasted chicken is great to pick up as we head out on the lake for the day.

Was my first time trying this. Great people & i loved the pizza and the bonless wings.
We liked the pizza (because we were quite hungry?), dived right in! Could have finished the large in one sitting.
It's cut into squares, and that is style I grew up with in Northeast Mpls. But I'll eat a good pizza cut in any fashion.
Dined in Friday May 27. Moderately busy for onsite dining, very busy for carryout orders. There is outside dining as well. Menu is posted on the shield, order/pay at the register. Wasn't sure if we were to bus our own table or not, no wait staff, focus is on order taking and making food.
We did wait 45 minutes for our order, but I would do it again. And again. 1919 Root Beer on tap or in a can.
Always my favorite place to get pizza! You always get what you expect! Love the meat lovers! They are always so kind. Pricing is a little higher but willing to spend when supporting a great business🤍
They should really change the name to " Big John's Pizza & Chicken" because although the Pizza is great the Broasted Chicken is the best I've ever had in my 62 years on earth. I'm happy we just moved here so I can enjoy their food more often.
Decided last minute to stop as we were wasting time before a basketball game. The food was delicious, great service, the gal waiting on us was very friendly and accommodating. Will stop again if we’re ever in the area! Glad we stopped!
Big John's pizza is pretty awesome! I tried the cheese pizza, the meat lovers pizza, and the pizza fries. All of them were great!

This place is locally owned and has exceptional service. The pizza is out of this world good. They even cut it into squares for the kids! The beer selection is top notch and is for the aspiring beer connoisseur. Definitely worrh the trip from Baltimore,MD!
Great food. Very busy so it took a bit to get served, but yummy!
Best pizza ever! We came all the way from western Wisconsin to try this place out and we were not dissapointed! Will be back again soon!
