Hooters

I ordered my meal online through Grubhub and the wings were disgusting. I'm not sure if they were old or cooked frozen but they definitely weren't edible. The only thing edible in my order were the celery. I didn't even bother calling the establishment because I won't be eating anything from them again!

We visited Hooters in Pelham, AL today for lunch. We had 3 children, including a baby, with us. After waiting about 45 minutes, our waitress let us know the kitchen only had two people working and they were really behind. We were understanding, as we know there are many people short staffed right now, so we decided to stay. Almost 2 hours later, we finally got our cheese stick appetizers. All of them were hollow. Our waitress let us know they still had 2 tickets in front of us, and said we should just leave. She also informed us there is a new manager that has no idea what’s going on. We never saw the manager, he never came around. Two other tables got up and left after we did as their wings were not edible. In all honesty, I feel terrible for the waitresses. They shouldn’t have had to take the fall for it, and I’m sure they are counting losses as this is how they get paid. The restrooms also had zero toilet paper and the changing table had not been cleaned in a month of Sundays. I’ve been unable to get in touch with the manager after several attempts, so I’m writing this in hopes someone in higher management reads this and checks on this location.

It was a Saturday night and it wasn't too crowded. While I would prefer the original Hooters in Clearwater, FL this works even though you are not near the beach. The food was good as I ordered wings and my wife ordered a salad with crispy chicken. She prefers the Hooters salad but not every Hooters has this on their menu. The cheese sticks were excellent and we inhaled them. I prefer Hooters over Twin Peaks.

Honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had at any business. We had a party of 7 arrive ahead of us, I call one of them to put in an order for me and he said if the waitress ever comes back he would. We arrived about 10 minutes later and the server had not returned. I walked towards the bar to find the server on the phone and she was oblivious to me standing there. The bartender got her attention for me. I gave her my order and sat back at my table. After more than 25 minutes still no food or server I went back to the bar to inquire and was told my order had just been put in. At that point I told them nevermind as I could not wait any longer. She asked if we were ready for the checks and got them ready. Needless to say I was not happy and still hungry. I never had anyone come over to apologize or ask if something could be done. They were not busy. I have worked in customer service for 20 years and we all have a bad day but this was well beyond that. I'm sure we will go back there again and I hope the results will be better. We have eaten there before with good food and service.

My husband and I have started eating here at least once a week on Monday and Wednesday (for convenience) for about 5 weeks now after our Ice Hockey game. We order boneless chicken wings (when they have them) otherwise we get traditional and curly fries. Food is great and that’s why we give them our business However, tonight we show up at 8:35, the hostess seats us but another girl comes over and says we are closing at 9:00 and they are cleaning up the kitchen. So we had to leave. They had a full staff, two cooks and some other customers hadn’t even got their food yet. The service is terrible and we will not be going back.

Took over an hour and a half to get food. Less than 30 people when we arrived. Had 10 people 5 kids 5 adults there for a family meal...the meals were brought out 1 to 2 at a time people were through eating before 8 of us were served. Were told they didn't have enough beer mugs to refill our beers till we drank our beers....because regulars were smashing the mugs at the bartender..was charged for more beers than we drank..that was corrected. No explanation for why food took so long to be served at different times...our tater tots were served 10 minutes before our wings had to cover with napkins to keep warm.

I'll be honest here but when I first arrived here, I thought it wasn't going to be too bad right? Well, wrong. When I entered inside, I had to end up waiting for a table but I had to ask whoever was at the bar to come serve me because I was standing there for literally 3 minutes. As if, the food was also tasty but pretty pricy on the end, you could literally get like 2 combo meals at a fast food restaurant and it'd be the same price here at like Hooters, needless to say, it's just okay.

Ordered naked wings/hot, and curly fries. They were both just awful. They wings were warm when I got them, even though I came in and placed a to-go order and stayed there the entire time. The skin was chewy and meat was tough. And hot was not hot. The curly fries were bits and pieces of bottom of the bag fries that was sitting out for they were just warm. Needless to say, Hooters is on my list to never visit again.
