Waffle House

*****FIRST TIME CUSTOMER at this Location Alert My son went in order a patty melt meal, a Texas chicken melt NO BACON & a Pecan Waffle, extra pecans. SMH - Order was wrong, I sent him back in because I don’t eat red meat and they gave us two patty melts. Let’s not discuss the pecan waffles which the must have thought about the pecans AFTER the cooked the waffle because they just threw a bunch of them on there and flip the waffle down in the bowl. Anyways, the remake STILL had bacon on it, I slide the bacon off because at this point I just need something in my stomach, I took two bites, when going for the third bite I see a small piece of BLONDE HAIR on my sandwich. I couldn’t even get them on the phone, totally disgusted.

Stopped here on our way back from UAB. The lone waitress who was identified as Brittney by her badge was absolutely pitiful. Usually Waffle House is pretty fast and on the spot. Not this location. My partner and I walked in snd placed our order. We are still waiting on our drinks. Finally had to ask for them. The cook I’m not sure of her name but you could tell she was aggravated to put it mildly. I don’t think she was upset with the customers, I think the server was upsetting her. She was slower than Christmas! The attached pic is our server who was to busy checking her phone to take care of the customers. Didn’t know that Waffle House allowed staff to wear air pods while working but I guess this location doesn’t care. The cook however was amazing! Didn’t get the cooks name but she got all of our tips, which amounted to over $30. Management needs to pay attention and give this cook a raise!

So we show up and it's a little busy. No worries, it's WH on a Sunday afternoon. The hostess never acknowledges me outside of making eye contact. Also okay, it's WH and it's busy. An older couple comes in and sits down in the waiting area with me and my SO. About 10 minutes go by and the hostess cleans off a booth. The older couple gets up and claims the table, despite literally walking past me and my SO. Hostess never acknowledges that they just skipped us. So we walked out after letting the hostess know. What a trash Waffle House experience.
