Are you looking for delicious authentic Mexican food and warm hospitality? Then stop in for a meal or drinks at Ruben's in Peekskill. Lovely spot, open to theatergoers too. The food is ample and flavorful. The staff is so pleasant and attentive. Four of us dined and all enjoyed their meals. The star entree was the Ribeye steak. Mouthwatering and a large steak for the hearty eater. Enjoy and bring your appetite!

Chicken quesadilla was one of the best I’ve had in a while. I also got a shrimp fajita but was too full to finish it. The quesadilla was the star of the meal for both me and my partner. The complimentary chips were also great to snack on.

Rubens is an amazing place to have dinner and catch a drink. The staff is so friendly. They also give amazing service. I was able to get the steak fajita and it was amazing.

This place is a good vibe - nice location and great for summer nights when they are playing music in the streets.
I only rated 4 stars though because I’ve tried a few dishes that were sub par. If you order well, you will enjoy it - but not everything on the menu was really excellent. I would recommend the enchiladas though!

Food and service were excellent! The prices here are very reasonable and the portion sizes are very generous. Our server was very attentive, and we had a wonderful dinner. There is ample seating, music and overall great vibes. 5 stars!

We went for late lunch. It feels and looks like a nightclub. The food was great but not speedy. They were nice to the baby.

Great atmosphere! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. I felt like a guest at someone’s home rather than eating at a restaurant. Drinks were great and the food, dessert were incredible. There is a municipal parking lot around the corner street parking is tough to find.

Ruben’s is the best Mexican restaurant in the Peekskill / Cortlandt Manor area.
The food is delicious. The portions are large. The drinks are excellent. And the service is great. They also sing happy birthday to you if you come to dine and celebrate!
My favorite dish is the Al Pastor Burrito but everything on the menu is great.

Really nice spot. Stopped by one Friday afternoon around 3:30 for a quick bite. Service was prompt and the staff were lovely. They opened up the front shutters to let the light in and some fresh air. It was a nice afternoon in March, the weather was cool and the sun was out. The margarita was yummy and strong. The portions were huge. I would definitely return, perhaps for dinner.
