The food was great. Loved the atmosphere & music. I had the fajitas trio & they were perfect. My friend had the lobster tacos and they were delicious as well. We also tried the ice cream taco & fried banana. Both yummy choices. Very refreshing to have a friendly, attentive waitress. Wish I had time to try more dishes, it all sounded so good!
Lupe Tortilla is a top notch Tex-Mex chain. Been here once or twice a long time ago and recently tried this one for brunch on a Saturday.
The vibes were chill and the beers were cold. They have a pretty good brunch menu but we came for the fajitas, and they did not disappoint.
The beef was tender and flavorful with a side of onions in a griddle. While the plate was warm, we were hoping to see that classic sizzle on its way out from the kitchen to our table. We didn't get that this time unfortunately.
We ordered the 1lb beef fajita platter along with a Monterrey chicken plate. This was way too much food for 3 grown men.
Our waitress was great and checked on us often, bringing out all types of fresh salsa on the house.
Overall I would definitely recommend Lupe for some quick and tasty Tex-Mex! This is also one of the few places open early for brunch on the weekends.

This is one of my favorites! Never disappoints. The food is delicious, the drinks are great and what makes it all worth it is the staff. They are very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Everything is GREAT here!
Service was awesome . Great margaritas. Food was just too spicy for my palette. Can't even get plain ranch to cool your mouth. Going back for margaritas!
The music was VERY LOUD when you first step in but got way more tolerable as we were seated.. but it almost made me leave before I was seated. My server was named Nancy..she was fantastic.. I had the jumbo crab stuffed shrimp and my partner had the chicken enchiladas.. we both truly enjoyed and needed no to go boxes
Hadn't been to Lupe in years, and now I'm wondering why. They have a new-to-me brunch menu and it was wonderful. Still have the classics, but now they have more to offer. Beans are still the BEST! Staff was attentive but not overly and were glad they sat us with the families so when the 2, 10-month old started cutting up, we didn't feel uncomfortable. Will definitely be back.
Another great year- delicious food, great service, attentive and polite employees. This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a meal. 10/10

Just damned near perfect. Comfortable, cozy, & casual- but with 5 star service. We had made our entree decisions when a delightful manager brought out a tasting plate, and explained the dish. We changed our minds immediately.
These are the best beef fajitas I've ever eaten in my life. They are delicious. They are devine, in fact. Moist, tender, & delicately seared to perfection.
The restaurant itself was very clean. My wife noticed someone inspecting & wiping down every plate. Even the parking lot was immaculate. An employee was sweeping up as we left.
Wonderful first visit of many to come. Highly recommend.
Love the service and the dedicated effort to the tex mex experience, servers will talk to you in spanglish, which is consistent with their menu. 😅 Service and food are great, but the kitchen staff is not flexible with custom requests unless you give em a hard time. The server knew her way around the menu, and I liked that she was bold in making suggestions that didn't dissapoint! While the kids' menu could be improved with better portions and sides, the little Mac n Cheese bowl is always a hit with my toddler. 🧀👧
Omg!! This was my first time and I was super impressed! Although our wait was about an hour, it was totally worth it. (There were 9 of us, so understandable) Our waiter James was incredible! My 3 year old niece ordered mac and cheese, but because it was close to the end of the night, it was hard and dry. Instead of him talking to an adult, he got down to her level and asked her directly what she wanted. He didn't talk to her like a baby, but acknowledged her as a person. I've never experienced that ever, let alone in these times with these newer servers. Our food was amazing, our server was amazing. I don't even live in Houston, but I will be planning a trip to come back soon just so I can go back to Lupe Tortilla!
Lupe Tortilla was a good choice for Mexican Cuisine. The service was good, but the server had several tables and was a little overwhelmed at times. The server had several tables with more than 6 customers which resulted in the server forgetting several items ordered on the menu. With the amount of people served, I think the server did a good job. However, the hostess should not sit multiple parties greater than 6 in the same area with one server. It causes confusion on the server, and therefore frustrates the customer. Overall, the food was good for the value. My family and I were satisfied with what we ordered. Just prepare to wait for extended times on the food orders if there is only one server in the area with multiple parties. I would recommend this restaurant.
