The Roast House

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered the baked onion soup and a Philly Cheesesteak. The onion soup was really exceptional, great flavor and a good amount of stock. The Cheesesteak was very good, fresh bread and very good taste. On a scale from 0-10 o would rate this 8.6.

Saw this spot from another reviewer I follow and had to check it out. When we got there it was super busy, but was able to get a table pretty quick. A big menu with so many options, I ended up getting the seafood platter and the chicken medira. Both were really good and ended up taking home some dessert. They also have another location in Massachusetts.

The roast house is an SOLID go-to spot. During sine in, the staff are attentive and pleasant. For our most recent visit, we both wanted a top-notch dinner salad for take out, and Roast House did not disappoint. Strongly suggest Taco Salad and the Roast House with grilled chicken. The protein is packaged separately from the salad to keep the greens fresh.

Wonderful Food and Kelley gave Awesome Service. The Whole Belly Clams were oh so Sweet and Sweet Potato Fries were excellent. Loved the coleslaw light and Delicious. The Smokey Mountain was a Great Sandwich and full of Flavor. The Sauce is rich and delicious. The Chicken was Juicy and Tender. We will be Back and try each item on the Menu. The Roast House is a 5 Star in our book & accommodates your needs as your Family I had the Minestrone soup to go and a serving of Grapenut Pudding. Both delicious. See you soon Lisa & Alex

Where do I even begin about THIS adventure?! Our hostess was nice and that's where the good service stopped. My boyfriend and I ordered two drinks, a water and lemonade, an appetizer of mozzarella sticks and two dinners. The mozzarella sticks were brought out on a plate with a few scraggly bits of lettuce and three of the sticks had exploded in the cooking process. Already we were off to a bad start. We waited for 45 minutes for our meals to come out. While waiting or server never came by to ask us if we needed a refill or to update us as to why the food was taking so long. During this time I watched three other tables leave. These tables were NOT cleaned up or wiped down after the patrons. Since we are in the middle of a pandemic this is absolutely unacceptable! When our food finally did arrive I did ask for another drink and our server forgot to bring it over to me again. My burger was a frozen patty and bland. My boyfriends food was salty and seemed as though it was reheated. The bathroom here is an experience all in itself and gave us a great laugh after such a terrible meal. When it was time to pay the bill, the server took my card, then walked away to another area instead of coming back over to me, started talking to herself and then brought it back over. We were perplexed. I do not recommend this place to anyone that wants good food. Go somewhere that cooks from scratch and cares about their cleanliness and how their patrons are affected or could be affected by a deadly virus. This isn't the n place!
