Great food, friendly atmosphere & excellent service with fair prices. This is by far my favorite diner around. I love that they have a smaller menu than most so they can focus more on making great food. Our waiter even asked if we like our bacon & home fries crispy/well done or not... and they gave me 6 pieces of bacon!!!

I was on the way to work at the hospital and was suddenly in the mood for a sit down breakfast. Saw this diner from the highway so pulled in. Looks like a typical diner so I was expecting subpar food…… No exaggeration, hands down the best Greek omelette I’ve ever had. The feta was creaming, spinach was diced up nice so it was evenly through out and the eggs had some browning from the griddle but still were some how fluffy.

I California diner is one of the most best diners in eastern Long Island. I’ve been going there since I was a little kid I would say about maybe seven years old and one of my favorite items that I love to get there is two scrambled eggs with bacon and they challah bread, French toast my gosh it is just so delicious and orange juice and the people that work there are so amazing so I really hope that they stay around forever because I do go there often often.

It's a diner, so there's not much atmosphere. The place is clean & the staff is friendly. The food was delish. My husband had Greek pizza. He thought it was one of the best he's ever had. I had the gyro wrap & it came with a greek salad, also delish. Would definitely recommend this diner.
