This is a very homemade type of food. It really is Mexican food at its finest. The sopes are the local hit with the cecina. Gorditas are amazing too. I have been coming here since I was a kid and everytime I visit my hometown i will do my best to come to this restaurant highly recommended.

I love this place, the owners are always really polite and the food is amazing, My favorite food is the sopes, chiles rellenos, carne a la tampiqueña + this place if one of the few places that don’t cook their rice in Arriozera they do it the old school way.

(8 yrs ago) Been going there since I was 6 and I'm 21 now. I've always loved their tacos. I try to go there with my family when we get a chance since we live in PA. It's worth the trip for me when I'm in NJ. I'm sure there are other restaurants out there but this small place is very family oriented and provides great service.
Update: looks like it's temporarily closed 😭 keep checking back i guess.

I told my friends about this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is delicious and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. always when we go to this place we have a pleasant time. warmly recommended.

This is the first time I come here and won’t be the last!! I was hesitant at first because of the few reviews this place had but yet high ratings. So I knew I had to try it out. Our waitress was so nice and polite! And the food was superb! I had Sopes de Pastor! And it was mouth watering !!! I love that the prices are so fair and the portions are huge !! Loved it !! They are very attentive and answer all the questions you have with so much kindness! Guys check them out!! Worth the drive !!
