Villas Tacos

I like never give google reviews but I could not withhold my religious experience I had eating the Villa’s Trio. The tortillas are handmade and absolutely fantastic- also fully gluten free, so the first taco place that’s been safe for my wife (who is celiac) in years! Such an awesome family and crew behind the counters, the energy is electric, and I will now be a Villa’s customer for life every time I’m in LA.

In around Los Angeles and near by cites in Orange county including in low and high desert Tacos pop up are spring up so quick everybody wants tacos in very corner in street. Mexican food have been coming very popular in the streets with Taco pop up in very corner. This how Villa's Tacos Los Angeles began in the street. I heard of Villa's Tacos from friends they told me they are so good with so much flavors in each bite. I decided try them out I travel to Highland Park first time my wife and I went there's was a long line to get tacos next time we come back. I got lucky there's we're no long line but it was the lunch hour. I was really surprised how many people coming in and out of Villa's Tacos. I step in and look at the menu it's a simple menu selling tacos,quesadilla and mulitas and choices of meats and also meatless or vegan you have choices what you like on your tacos. I decided to order two tacos de carne asada and carne asada mulita to go. The restaurant is small there's no table inside there's a patio outside with table it's limited. They called my name and my meal was ready one of cooks told me there's a sauce bar made fresh daily. I decided to try one of the tacos one bites my mind was blown away with flavors in the tacos. The meat was season well and tender and juicy great flavors and guacamole was incredible good the flavors were very intense combine and the handmade blue corn tortillas were amazing good. The mulitas has impact with flavors also that surprised me overall the tacos at Villa's Tacos I give it high marks. Next I need to bring my wife to try the tacos.

Just wow! Rarely places live up to the hype but this place most definitely does!! The tacos are delicious, original and top quality. They are super busy but run so efficiently that you barely notice, so don’t let the long line discourage you. The sampler trio and the cucumber água fresca is now a constant craving. Congrats guys on all the very well deserved accolades 🌮🔥!

Victor Villa is the latest TACO 🌮 MASTER serving lines of grateful foodies at his amazing VILLA'S TACOS in Highland Park. Yes. It's worth the drive in a city where everything is a drive. Michelin Star (Bib Gourmand) and a full page in yesterday's Sunday LA Times (8-13-23) are both testaments to Victor's dedication and hard work. YummyYummy Fabulous 👌 Don't miss it.

The Good: I ordered the Villa's Trio, which had three different tacos, and they were very good. I also ordered a carne asada mulita which was also very good. The presentation was nice looking. Tried three of the spicier salsas and they were delicious. Healthy thin corn tortillas, friendly service. The Not so Good: The carne asada was so finely cut that it didn't look like carne asada - when we got our plates, my wife and I thought it was chorizo instead of carne asada - Noisy inside with the very loud music... In general it was a satisfactory first visit. However, I felt it was a little pricey for what I got.
