This is your typical mercado/carneceria. Lots of imported food options, loud Spanish music played and a somewhat suspicious kitchen. I've never gotten sick, buché is delicious and the prepared red salsa is great. They sell everything you need for a quick taco night. $1.99 taco Tuesday, my new Tuesday spot when I'm in town.
Went in tonight craving guacamole, chips and yummy food! We ordered quesabarilla and a bowl, got chips and guacamole, took it home and enjoyed every single bite! This was our first time, but not our last, so great! Service and food was off the hook!
Drove by and smelled the chicken on the outdoor smoker and I had to stop at this amazing place. Was sure that the food would be good because of the authenticity of the place and what appeared to be a strong Hispanic customer base. I was not disappointed. I ordered steak tacos, chicken tacos and a tamale. All were mouthwateringly good. The meat was seared crisp on the flat top while the tortillas were warmed. Just the right amount of onions cilantro and awesome salsa we added to make the prefect tacos! Food was so good and the people so nice we went back the next day. We did not get to order from the meat counter but will come back as it looked amazing.
Great spot for giant burritos (Chorizo breakfast burrito is my favorite!) and authentic Mexican food. The market itself is well stocked with all kinds of Mexican cuisine staples as well. Great location, lots of parking and fantastic customer service!
Authentic Mexican market vibes. The burritos and cabeza tacos are perfect to fulfill my cravings. Plus a lot of Mexican snacks and kind customer service!
The best mexican food i have had outside of mexico city itself, all homemade and freshly prepared in front of you. Perfectly spiced with the perfect balance in each item, the torta de la reyna, tamales and chicharron were all genuinely outstanding!!
Overall 5 stars. The torta was excellent, as were the taquitos. Hand made and fresh! Rice and beans were lackluster, wouldn't spring for the combo next time. Location is inside of a busy Mexican grocery store, no seating or dedicated space. Don't let that deter you!
Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - food service in the back of a market. Huge line that moves very quickly. Ordered asada, al pastor, and chicharron tacos. One of the better tacos we’ve had in a while a everything is flavorful, tender, and the sauces compliments the tacos well. They were generous with the proteins
Ambience: n/a - food is to go only. The market is packed with food aisle very close together. They do have raw meat counters on the side if you prefer to cook yourself rather than to-go food
Service: 5/5 - very quick and responsive! We had slight communication difficulties but it didn’t cause any issues overall
Value for price: 5/5 - quick place with yummy food to go
La Crayna has that taste touch and feel that makes my whole body tingle. I like to stick my itty bitty toes in the green sauce and yelp like street dog. And my payment for this noble deed is a carnitas plate served in a dog bowl at the front door. Look out! Cuz I BITE🫦
The meat prices beat the grocery store’s in town and it’s good quality. The market is a bit small so it can get crowded but worth it just for the money you save.
